Head east from Baton Rouge for about eight miles to discover the suburban neighborhood of Avalon, a peaceful, tree-filled community that's ideal for commuters. Avalon is located between Florida Avenue and I-12, between Sherwood Forest and River Run.
While primarily a residential neighborhood, Avalon offers a shopping strip along Millerville Road that offers everything from restaurants to pharmacies. More shopping and dining is available off O'Neal Lane and along Florida Boulevard. Avalon is directly south of Waddill Wildlife Refuge, and several other parks are located nearby. The closest, Flannery Road Park, offers a baseball field, a playground, and a recreation center with indoor basketball courts.

Property Ratings at Ole London Towne - Utilities Included
This ain’t no robot review. These are nice apartments, everything is included in rent. We don’t have bugs, shootings, fighting, strangers walking around at night. Maintenance is always on time & they cut grass every Monday. My only issue would be how thin the walls are we can hear the people next door watching tv & the people stomping upstairs. Great place for first timers because we only have to provide rent payments & internet & $20 renters insurance. Almost everyone here owns a pretty big dog too so they’re dog friendly. But there’s lots of cats & raccoons in the back of the complex. I can still give them 5 stars overall.
I relocated for work and this is my first apartment. In 6 months I’ve had over 13 work orders. Every time grass was cut the grass would come in my apartment. Windows damaged partially fixed, showers stop working for a while, Pest( large spiders and bugs). Went to replace air filter in office they were unable to provide me with the correct size, master br fan was broke, dishwasher not attached to counter. Maintenance rude and creepy( after work order completed he found me on every social media platform). Apartments are nice but overall customer service sucks.
The staff is friendly, maintenance fixes in a timely matter, it's clean and an overall great place to live. What else is better than only having one bill to pay. Everything included with the rent. Love it.
Ole London Towne is a very nice family oriented complex on Oneal Lane. The price is right and it is minutes from everywhere in Baton Rouge. Convenient to both I10 and I12 and down the street from anything you could need: gas, groceries, pharmacies, hospital,theater, restaurants ect. The amenities are right for the price and the staff is very nice and caring which is hard to find in large complexes. There is laundry facility, fitness facility, swimming pools, and there are community activities that provide and promote family fun and community togetherness. Living here is like a having a community of extended family.
Not a bad place to live. It's quiet, all utilities paid. And a good location.
