The apartments are very nice after the remodel but the manager to the office is very deceiving. They tried to up sell and pick out my apartments and treated new applicants like garbage. They also have a terrible roach and "other" bug problems
I stayed for a year and while I loved my apartment, I was calling AT LEAST once a month (sometimes having to stay on them) to fix my air conditioner. Did you know air conditioning is considered an amenity in Florida? Not a requirement.

Thank you for the 5 star rating and you are correct I was surprised to learn that in Florida an ac is an amenity as well.
I have been here for two weeks, and so far everything is okay, except for my move-in process, which was a NIGHTMARE. The ladies in the office are exceptionally nice and helpful, and so are the maintenance staff. However, I have a list of grievances: 1. I was told my security deposit was going to be a certain amount via email, and then when I came in to sign the lease and move in, the deposit had increased. 2. I had no AC for a WEEK after my move in date! 3. The apartment had very clearly not been cleaned or inspected before my arrival: the whole place (still) smells like cigarettes, there was a broken window, missing lightbulbs, and other miscellaneous issues that should have been addressed before I arrived. 4. I had to go into the office every single day for the first week I was here to get the issues fixed that should have been fixed before I even got here. My broken window still isn't fixed, and it has been two weeks. Altogether, the apartment itself is mediocre, but I am a teacher so I had to go with the cheapest option available in the area. Disappointed in how my move in was handled, and wouldn't recommend to a friend unless they can't afford anything better. Again, the staff are wonderful, but this is not the "oasis" it is named after.
The staff is good, the rent is a pretty good price, but the Apartments, aren't that great!! The ENTIRE place is NOT cleaned before you move in. They just SPRAY PAINT EVERYTHING, when I say EVERYTHING, I literally mean it!! Counter tops,kitchen sinks,A/C vents, breaker boxes, inside the cabinets, tub, yes the tub!! Again they do NOT clean before doing that si be sure to have a floor mat to stand on in shower or the dust and dirt that was painted on with hurt your feet. The bedroom window was/is broke (won't seal shut) luckily it's on the 3rd floor. The blinds ate are absolutely DISGUSTING with I don't even know what. My mailbox was JAMMED PACKED with someone else's mail, I couldn't even get into it, my jet doesn't work, like its not the right key, you can pull it open enough to pull the mail out (ripping it) which mean ANYONE can get access. I've told then twice about it, still hasn't been fixed or replaced (whole thing NEEDS to be replaced) But like i said, rent is good price, location is okay, neighbors are extremely loud and rude about how loud they are (all hours) luckily can't really hear them inside.

I have been here since October and have NEVER been able to use the pool. Right now they say it is closed due to COVID but i was also told by an office staffer that it really is closed because there is no lifeguard??!

This is a great apartment complex, just signed my lease yesterday and I move in today! The management staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, especially Lisa. She guided us through everything easily and was very friendly and professional. Highly recommend looking into if you’re needing a new place to move.

The staff in general are great and way better than they were 6 months ago. I was considering moving 6 months ago and now I actually enjoy interacting with the staff. Yeah they're a little pricey, but I've seen way worse for way more. Plus the fact that the office and maintenance actually care about the happiness of the tenants makes it worth it.
The personal they have there are awesome they make you feel that its the right place were you looking for im in love and excited to move there

After looking at many places I found this place to be honest I was on the fence at first just driving up but then I met Ariel in the office and she gave me a tour of the place and showed me the grounds and after talking with her I couldn’t of been happier she took her time to show me everything from the apartment rentals to the way around the property she clearly and professionally answered all my questions and had a great personality that really drew me in so after talking to my boyfriend we decided we wanted to move in Ariel got our application and background check done within 24hours and had us moved quickly after that. It took no more than 3 days to get all moved in and the best part is that The Oasis accept dogs also everyday I see something being done to make this place even more of a gem. Overall I’m very pleased with my move in process and how easy and stress free Ariel made it for me and the fact that the property it’s being taken care of. -A happy renter

I was looking for a apartment for my aunt. We went to several places and happened to meet Arielle at the Oasis. I have to say she was more than helpful and went above and beyond of any places we had searched. Thank you so much for all you do!
Property looks very good, really like my apartment. Rene and Arel are very nice and on top of everything going on around the property.
Thank God for the current staff. Arel and Rene are very courteous, professional, and kind. I was very frustrated until they came. You the perfect staff in them. They are a credit to their professionalism. Please keep them!!!!! They always there to help with every issue I have and take care of any problems I’ve had very fast. Arel always have a positive attitude that helps the problems also with some of my life issues.
Leasing office is very nice first day moved in no issues. Very thorough and complementary.
Pool is green, laundry facility disgusting. It takes weeks to months for maintenance to fix anything. Major plumbing issues. Gunshots, thin walls, ant problem. Place is horrible and severely overpriced. the apartments look nothing like these pictures. This place is a joke.

Good Day , We appreciate you taking the time to respond. The staff at Oasis at Belmont Park take our reviews very seriously. As we have recently had a change in Management and staff we are working diligently to update and make changes as we go. Surely you understand nothing changes over night but we are moving forward to Brighter things daily. We are in midst of handling the pool for restoration, so currently it is down. The pictures shown are the Newly Renovated units we are upgrading as units become available. However, we are merely the management team and can only manage and handle our property. Therefore, what goes on in the surrounding areas we can not control or change. Just as you we too depend on our Law enforcement officers to handle all issues and keep us safe. We have set our standards and pricing to be competitive for our area. Meanwhile as prospects are to come we are sure to only rent to those that qualify under our Guidelines. I'm a firm believer that no one will move or stay where they are unhappy or cannot afford from the start. I run an open door policy, and would love to speak with you more regarding your concerns. I have been here for the past 5 years now. The rent has increased to a ridiculous amount and it still looks like straight out of the seventies. Crime is OUT of control. Shootings,fights,drugs,prostitution is daily. If I don't see a police officer or the entire force at least once to twice a week I would be lost. Not to mention the infestation of roaches and absolutely no pest control anymore. STAY AWAY

Now under new management we are making major changes and improvements with our site. Monthly during our community Actions, we do try to invite our tenants to come out visit and let our Team be aware of your concerns. Now with all the changes and updates does come increase to continue making your home and community Great. Our community stands alone with having the largest floor plans and at a low rates in the area. we lived there from2003 to 2006.loved every minute if it.everyone was so helpful,kind and friendly.form Lynn to Pete and Jim.the only reason we moved back up north,was for sickness of my husband.we never had any problem with anyone,and I mean anyone.we miss it.if they had 3 bdrms.,we would move back,as we have custody of our 2 grandchildren,ages 13 and 15.a girl and a boy.i don't know why people there have a problem. thank you.

This is the worst place in bradenton, bad neighbors,drugs, bugs and noisy.....really another person reviewed this place with 4 stars (probably management) says they have lived here since October 2016, what kind of drugs are you on since it's only may 2016. The worst neighbors I've ever had and I've lived in detroit!
I been here since Oct 2016, I love the fact the staff are great, I got a nice unit, better then even ever, new management is doing a great job with remodeling all their units, the new owner and staff are the best. If people writing negative comments they are the people who have moved out or donot want to paid extra for the new remodel units................. Love it here ...........................safe place...........
Recently the rent has increased by $100 a month - since this time the elevator never gets cleaned - when you call the office they tell you it was cleaned last week - that's a lie ! They just can't afford a mop ! But there remodeling the office area !!! They expect you to keep the unit clean, but you come from work at the end of the day and walk in filth and expected by the office manager to clean your shoes before entering you apartment. NOW I FIND OUT THE BUILDING HAS A UNIT INFESTED WITH BED BUGS ! I CALLED THE OFFICE MANAGER TODAY TO FIND OUT SHE WAS AWARE YESTERDAY OF THE PROBLEM AND SOMEONE WILL BE OUT TOMMORROW ... 3 DAYS TO RESOLVE A SERIOUS PROBLEM. HOPE THE BEDBUGS ARE NOT LIVING IN THE ELEVATOR !!!!!!!
i have lived her for the past year. was told about all the changes being made and have seen nothing other than a small, practically unsafe child's play area installed. my unit has failed housing inspection twice and the management has not fixed anything for 5 months now. there is no balcony, patio or deck unless they are referring to the open area by the pool. there is no high speed internet access unless they are referring to what you pay for. no sun deck, grill area or picnic area unless they are referring to the open area by the pool. there is no pet play are unless they are referring to the sandy, grassy area between some of the buildings. there is a high rate of crime/drug use on the property. the laundry area's are not maintained and the homeless that frequent the area use them as wash area's and can be found just "hanging around" at all hours of the day and night. definitely not a place to bring children oe expect to have a quite and clean life. this is my third revue, all the others would not be posted for one reason or another. unlike the other revues, this is completely honest. lets see if it meets the standards!
I've lived in the "Oasis", which used to be called "Belmont Park" apartments, for a couple of years now. And although it true is a drama-free, crime-free environment. They don't come with a washer/drier hookup. No dishwasher either. The hallway and stair rails are a good head size apart from eachother so if your considering moving in with a little one, 1st floor might be best. Also 2/2 corner units are bigger than any regular 2/2s. Hope this helps. If so please click the Helpful button. Thanks.
