The joint community made up of Marshall and Albion sits just 20 miles southeast of Battle Creek and encompasses a quiet, diverse community. The two towns are located 13 miles apart in the lower peninsula of Michigan and offer renters affordable living in low-rise apartments and contemporary single-family homes in a pastoral setting. Marshall is famous for its historic buildings with over 850 homes and businesses that are a part the National Register of Historic Places. Both communities sit along the Kalamazoo River, but since Albion sits where the North and South branches meet, there’s a great emphasis on it. The Festival of the Forks is an annual event that brings both long-time residents and visitors near the water with food and music. Both communities sit south of Interstate 94, so those who commute into Battle Creek will be well taken care of.

Was thinking about relocating here, been in the complex a few times to get a feel ... needs some updating and repairs done.. would be a nice place if you like peace and quiet ... away from the city ..

I love living here.. miss the old manager Lisa. Haven't really met the new manager.. Wish I could get a 3 bedroom. I have two kids..girls like more privacy. Sharing a room is hectic with them and it's small with a 2room.
I moved into Oak Meadows a couple months ago and I LOVE it!!! The office staff and maintenance crew are on top of it. They have took care of all my concerns and issues. I know I will live here for a very long time, it is just a great place.
The apartment I moved into was nasty!! The blinds were splashed with pop, the carpets were not cleaned, the fridge was dirty. You ask them to fix something and they don't they make excuses so they don't have to be bothered. The manager lied multiple times saying this will be done there never available. Needed the manager to verify housing for my job and she blew them off!! The only think the manager does is go out back and smoke her pot and the maintenance man gets paid to drive around and look busy they never do any work!!! I've reported to the proper people for investigation. Whatever you do don't move here or you will be scammed!!!
Ive looked into these places and they look super nice! I havent applied yet, but am very interested in taking a look!! The office people are very friendly, and very very helpful!
