Oklahoma City is a thriving city right at the heart of Oklahoma. The city’s thriving economy is complemented by its exciting nightlife and entertainment options. Downtown is home to the Myriad Botanical Gardens and the Oklahoma City Zoo, two extremely popular family-friendly attractions. The Myriad Gardens also include the Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park production at the Water Stage.
The Oklahoma City Thunder has built a dedicated fan base, and things always get pretty wild around the Chesapeake Arena on game days. The arts community is quite active with galleries, museums, theater productions, and a music scene incorporating everything from underground alternative bands to the Oklahoma City Philharmonic.
The city has been expanding in recent years, and Oklahoma City proper is much easier to get around with public transportation than most other cities in the region, including rail service.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Oak Creek Apartments
I'm moving in next week. Let me express my gratitude. The apartments are well maintained. Pet friendly. And Iris the apartment manager is amazing. I have nothing but positive experiences. I highly recommend anyone needing a great place to call home to check out this property.
Dee and Tina came in and made this place a home. Maintenance is top tier! Work orders are getting done if not the same day then the next. They have repaired and remodeled not only the inside but the plumbing and the POOL!!!!! Happy to call this place home!
This place has gotten so much better in the past few month. From the maintenance to the office ladies. everything has gotten better
I lived there for a little over a year. The whole time I lived there they kept going through different office staff different management you can never get a hold of anybody to get anything fixed there is thousands and thousands of cockroaches in the apartment that I was in it also flooded every single time it rained it would flood out my apartment I'd end up with frogs beetles all sorts of stuff in there because there was nothing underneath the doors it was horrible horrible. I ended up going to the hospital and hospitalized over having breathing in mold in the kitchen and the bathroom and no matter how many times you tell them they wouldn't come in and fix it I would not recommend these apartments to anybody they are straight up nasty
I regretfully have nothing positive to say about my experience at Oak Creek Apartments. From the moment I moved in, it has been a complete nightmare. Here are the reasons why I strongly discourage anyone from considering this apartment complex: 1. Poor Maintenance: The maintenance team at this complex is utterly incompetent. Numerous maintenance requests were made, and most of them were either ignored or poorly addressed. Basic repairs such as plumbing issues and broken appliances took weeks to get fixed, causing significant inconvenience and frustration. 2. Unresponsive Management: The management team demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism and accountability. They were unresponsive to our concerns and failed to address issues promptly. Trying to reach them by phone or in person was an exercise in futility, as they often seemed disinterested or dismissive of our problems. 3. Inadequate Security: The security measures at Oak Creek are woefully insufficient. There have been multiple instances of unauthorized individuals gaining access to the property, and the management did little to address the issue. This lack of security created a constant sense of unease and compromised our safety. 4. Unsanitary Conditions: The overall cleanliness of the complex was subpar, to say the least. Trash bins were often overflowing, hallways were rarely cleaned, and the common areas were neglected. It was evident that proper cleaning and maintenance were not a priority for the management. 5. Noise and Disruption: The noise levels in the complex were unbearable. Thin walls and poor insulation allowed every sound to penetrate, making it impossible to enjoy a peaceful living environment. Additionally, frequent construction and renovation projects caused significant disruption, often starting early in the morning and continuing throughout the day. 6. Unreliable Amenities: The promised amenities were consistently underwhelming and often out of service. The pool was frequently closed for maintenance or overcrowded with unsupervised children. In conclusion, my experience at Oak Creek was nothing short of a nightmare. The combination of poor maintenance, unresponsive management, inadequate security, unsanitary conditions, excessive noise, and unreliable amenities made living here an absolute disappointment. I strongly advise potential renters to steer clear of this apartment complex and explore other options that prioritize tenant satisfaction and well-being.
This apartment complex has changed owners 3x since February of this year! They have lost payments, and leases. And now I'm having an issue with maintenance coming into my apt while I'm gone with no notice! This has happened more than once! I've already had stuff stolen by the old owners maintenance workers. No calls emails or notices left on my door. This company is completely unethical.
New management is just awesome! Security on-site changed the whole picture.
It's a scary place to live. Too many shootings too many burglaries and the managers won't do anything about it.
