Situated just over 25 miles north of Omaha, the city of Blair provides a close-knit community lifestyle for those seeking to avoid the bustle of metropolitan living. Rental options can sometimes be hard to come by in rural communities, but not here!
The city was once a college town, so it does offer a good mix of apartments as well as single-family homes. Because Blair only consists of six square miles, you won’t have to look high and low for the right place.
Three main thoroughfares make up this community, and these roads are where you’ll find many of the local shops and markets. For department stores and malls, residents travel outside of Blair into Omaha for their shopping needs. Most of Blair’s restaurants are along Washington Street, making them visible to any visitors on their way to Desoto National Wildlife Refuge.
