The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Northern Pacific Apartments
Poor heating and cooling. There's a lot of VERY loud pipes in the building as well; they make their rattling, vibration very early in the morning and late night. Summers and winters are both brutal warm with little relief. The building is over-insulated and there is no central heat/AC. The hallways/public parts of the buildings are almost always an uncomfortable temperature. The building also smells terrible at specific times of day and night -- in and attempt to relieve the oppressive heat residents open their windows AND the ones in the hallways. This lets the odor from the local sugar beat factories straight into the building. The property manager's level of care is barely adequate and seems to only be so if you know your legal rights and invoke them.
This building was infested with cockroaches when we moved in. They did not inform us of the infestation, instead had us sign paperwork stating we were responsible for reporting any infestation. We found out from our neighbor 2 weeks after move in that the previous tennant moved out because of cockroaches. Management had pest control come on many occasions, but in the 8 months living there the situation was never fully resolved. We are just thankful that none of them came with us upon move out.
I’ve lived in this apartment for 8 months and love it! It’s roomie, there are fast responses to maintenance requests and is in a good location of town!!
Great place with great perks, they always have some sort of discount offers on your rent! Staff has been helpful and timely with any issues or concerns.
I think my apartment and building is great. The building is kept clean. Any maintenance issues are handled promptly. The office staff is very personable and polite. I have been a tenant for 6 months. It’s a very family friendly building. The only downfall of my building and the reason I gave 4 stars is because there is no recycling dumpster. So I have to haul it in order to recycle. There is always a ton of stuff in the dumpster that could be recycled. I called about it months ago and was told they are working on it.
