Located along the Tennessee border with Fort Campbell on its west side, Oak Gove is a popular city for military personnel and civilian employees looking for off-base housing. The base is home to the 101st Airborne Division, nicknamed the Screaming Eagles. Oak Grove is centrally located to several major cities, with I-24 running along its northern edge. Residents can reach Clarksville, Tennessee in less than 20 minutes, Nashville in less than an hour, Louisville is just over two hours, St. Louis in just over four hours, and Indianapolis, Indiana and Cincinnati, Ohio in four and a half hours.
With its open green space and hilly neighborhoods with homes perched on large lots, Oak Grove has a definite rural feel. There are a few stores and restaurants located near the intersection of Fort Campbell Boulevard and Segler Drive.

Property Ratings at Newton Place
This place is terrible don’t not move here you will be paying a house payment for a small apartment that is infested with bugs and poisonous spiders the most they only spray once a month. they don’t handle tenant issues so if your neighbor is loud and violent plus causing issues with everybody in your building to the point the police has been called over 20 times because their fighting all the time and busting out their windows management will not do anything about it you’ll have to deal with it yourself.. Don’t move here!

They don't even deserve one star. Rented us an apartment infested with brown recluses, didn't exterminate it, treated us AWFUL over the situation. Threatened to sue and they straightened up real quick.
My husband and I lived here almost 4 years while he was stationed at Fort Campbell. Always felt safe. Newer apartments and appliances. Yet fairly priced rent. My only complaint was I didn't like how the maintenance men came in the apartment twice a month. Once for pest control spraying, And once for changing the air filter on the air conditioner. They knocked twice and would open the door. Just haf to be prepared, if they had a schedule I wasn't aware..! At least we never had to worry about bugs in the apartment! Thanks Newton Place for being our home away from home :)
