Oak Creek is a suburban lakefront community just twenty minutes south of Downtown Milwaukee. With its close proximity to the larger city, low crime rate, and numerous high-performing public schools, Oak Creek serves as a highly popular home base for many Milwaukee commuters.
While mostly a residential community, there are a few large shopping centers positioned along Howell Avenue. The lakefront offers endless opportunities for boating and fishing, and the numerous public parks (Root River Parkway and Grant Park in particular) and golf courses give you lots of excuses to get outdoors and enjoy the fresh air. General Mitchell International Airport sits right on the north side of town, making it the terrific location for frequent travelers as well as daily commuters.

No upgrades and the owners raised the rent sky high!
I lived here for about a year. I’ll be moving when my lease is up next year. Overpriced for what you get. Not a single update in the apartments. Cabinets/ doors, trim look like it’s been around since the 90’s. Even the 2 bedrooms are small.
I have lived in Newbury for over a year now. I love it here. Great Staff. Nice Neighbors. And I feel very safe. If you have a maintenance concern it's taken care of ASAP. I have my own parking spot I love that. They do grass and snow for you i. I'm really enjoying my stay.
The apartment/property itself is what gives this review any stars at all. You have private entry, assigned parking, and yard to roam in. When it comes to your quality of living, you will have none. You will be treated like an inmate. You are constantly being watched for any wrong doings, including outside of office hours. Cameras will be installed to monitor your activity at managements discretion if they are suspicious of you. Rules are not enforced equally. The complex is ran by a family affair. The older maintenance guy is unprofessional, aggressive, and a loose cannon. Myself and other residents have made several complaints and do not feel safe around him. You will be harassed and micromanaged. If you can afford the extra money to move in somewhere else, do it.
I have lived here for 10 years, and I love these little apartments. It is a very quiet and safe area. Christy and the maintenance guys are great. They are always willing to help, and I never need to wait more than a day or two for something to be fixed. I love that I do not have to deal with hallways, neighbors above, or below me.
I've lived here about a month and so far I like it. You can park right next to your apartment and the grounds are kept up well. Laundry room is pretty dirty, though
