Property Ratings at Newberry Square Apartments
Someone the on site manager maintenance or whatever he is knows or fools around with in the building must have done the last two reviews. This building is horrible! I have never lived in conditions like this! The hallaways smell, there is a roach infestation, bedbugs, people have large dogs in the building and you can tell by the smell. The parking lot is raggedy. Don’t get me wrong, the on site maintenance or manager or whatever he is does what he can, but it’s not enough. This building should be closed down. I am looking to move the hell out of here, as soon as I can! Do NOT move here!
The lease process was straightforward and hassle-free, with all terms clearly explained from the beginning. Communication with the landlord/property management was prompt and transparent, making the entire experience stress-free and easy to manage from move-in to ongoing tenancy.

I really admired the awesome attentiveness from the staff towards my move. Very pleased to have made the decision to locate here to the complex.
Moving here was the single worst mistake I could have made. There is absolutely zero accountability or pride in the building from management. There is no onsite manager, the building owner lives out of state and will not respond to your requests. I went two months without a working fridge and have not had air conditioning all summer. Any requests to the owner have been ignored. The halls are filthy, the elevators are constantly out of service and the windows in the apartments do not close. Residents will constantly play loud music until 3am and the bar next door insures a constant stream of loud/drunk individuals at all times of the night. There are far better places for a similar price in the area.
