Nautica Apartments

Where to start about Nautica. When you first meet with the management they will be very nice but the moment you cause them any disruption they will be rude, manipulative, and gaslight you. My first electric bill at good ole Nautica was $492 all because they didn’t fix the air conditioner that I filed a maintenance report for the first night I moved in. They said that it was my fault for “setting my temperature so low”. Low as in 74 degrees. My bedroom was so hot I couldn’t sleep and called maintenance immediately to file a report on the very first night I lived there. The next day the two main maintenance guys came, saw the air was at 76 and set to 74 then felt a couple pipes and said well the airs blowing and the pipes are good so nothing is wrong with it. They said they would come back in two hours to check and then didn’t come back till the next day to the air at 76. After 3 weeks, I discovered that inside the ac there had been an electrical fire and the equipment was melted and wires were fried! Immediately I unplugged my ac and went the whole weekend without one. A nice hot summer weekend in July. Monday I went to the office and told them I knew what was wrong with it and showed her a picture of the burnt part and she goes “why do you think thats the problem?” dumbfounded I responded “cause its burned”. They had the maintenance guy come and fix it thankfully but honestly a whole lot of time and money would’ve been saved if they actually listened and tried. I was so uncomfortable with how they treated me and blamed me I tried my best to avoid the workers there for months.

infested with bugs, no parking available ever, mold, terrible service, the list goes on and on.

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would!! The first night I moved in I turned the shower on and water started flooding ALL over my apartment! This place is so run down and nasty. They have a termite problem and wouldn’t do anything to fix it! If you like sleeping with termites this is the place for you! When it started getting cold I turned the heat on and BLACK MOLD started appearing EVERYWHERE I have TWO LITTLE KIDS living in here and they won’t do anything to fix the problem. They send someone to come clean it and and paint over it but that does nothing at all it just keeps coming back!! I’m so glad my lease ends soon because this place is so disgusting. Don’t even bother wasting your money!

Dont move into these roach infested apartments. Staff is unprofessional and on a power trip. Women in office, Carol, is a nightmare to deal with. We dont know how she keeps her day job.

If you're looking for: - Clean rooms and facilities - Responsive and friendly management - A safe neighborhood - Close proximity to shopping, beaches, food, churches, etc. - Diversity in demographics (age, race, gender, family status) among renters - Nice features and amenities Then I would absolutely recommend that you consider living at the Nautica Apartments. The moving process is never easy but please be assured that the Nautica team will make sure that you are happy. The staff here have been nothing but helpful since I moved in and I can't express enough how thankful I am that they actually care!! It sounds too good to be true, but I promise that you won't regret considering this place. Definitely worth it.

Its a mice quite place but as my rent goes up I cannot afford to pay it...I dont get anymore raises at my job...I may be homeless me . An my dog vome February. .
