Murrieta, located in southwestern Riverside County, combines suburban living with natural surroundings. The city maintains 52 parks and recreational areas, including community pools, disc golf courses, and equestrian facilities. One-bedroom apartments in Murrieta rent for $2,169 monthly, while two-bedroom units average $2,449. Established neighborhoods near downtown and along Interstate 15 offer diverse housing options from apartments to single-family rental homes.
The area's history stretches back to the Luiseño people, with the city later developing around its natural hot springs and the arrival of the Southern California Railroad in the 1800s. Today, residents have access to healthcare at Loma Linda University Medical Center and Rancho Springs Medical Center. The Mediterranean climate makes outdoor recreation possible throughout the year at locations like the Bear Creek Golf Club, an 18-hole championship course.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Murrieta Meadows Apartments
Thank you Chad @Vp Equities & Helena!! Amazing staff beautiful quaint and quiet apartment building with an awesome management company and leasing office. Helena, the property manager has so much integrity when it comes to keeping our community beautiful and safe. All the children play together and then at night it's so quiet and peaceful that you can hear crickets. Great for my remote education work. Maintenance staff is so friendly it feels like a movie set they always wave and are so knowledgeable, passionate, and expedient with any repairs. This is a very peaceful complex at night, so quiet that you can hear crickets. Great for my remote education work. All apartments say they care but Murrieta meadows is another level with their trendy and intentional rebranding. BONUS: The swimming poop is immaculate! - Thank me later. -Billie
Excellent service and accommodations .Manager Helena is awesome and easy to talk to .
The apartment itself is pretty nice, a little small but okay for the price. Neighbors are generally pretty good, a few questionable characters around here though honestly. The lady in the front office is horrible, every time I’ve walked in she’s shot dirty looks and made smart remarks. I’m always much happier when I go in and Chris is available to help me, because that lady and her bad attitude alone is the reason I’m moving out of this complex as soon as the lease is up.
I usually don't write reviews, but I feel it is imperative someone warns the public about Murrieta Meadows. There are many concerns and warnings that future tenants must take into consideration before making the decision to move into this specific community. First, you may notice that the price point for renting in Murrieta Meadows is substantially cheaper than other rentals in the area. DO NOT BE FOOLED! This is not a deal, rather than a plea of desperation to get people to fill their vacancies and rip off potential tenants that do not do their part by watching their back upon move in and move out. I will get into that shortly. Move in day I found my apartment filled with dust, debris, mold, hair from I-don't-know-who, and dents on doors. Lastly, I must warn about the fact that the management will attempt to steal from your security deposit. Under CA law, landlords are required to pay for routine cleaning after a tenant moves out, as long as their is no destruction, etc. I left it CLEANER than when I moved in, got on my hands and knees cleaning the place inside and out. I was actually charged for what should have been a routine cleaning $125 and $70 for carpet. I even read over the leasing agreement to make sure all move out requirements were met, and tried to even have lazy employee come walk through the place to make sure it was all in order, but he quoted to me "you will be fine!" Thankfully, I was smart enough to be prepared for this because I documented all the filth that I encountered on move in day! Management is not shy about sharing the fact that it is not uncommon they are summoned to court for issues with their tenants. Corporate ignored my calls. I was also charged a whopping $75 for three weeks of water. If you decide to plunge into this dive hole, be prepared! You have been warned!
I don't usually write reviews but I absolutely love my place here and the management was so amazing at getting me into my place asap they went above and beyond in meeting my expectations. Even now if I ever have any questions or concerns they are more than willing to help me in any way they can. I am from out of state so I really appreciate the warm welcome we have received here and the apartment itself is a great spacious lay out. I also love the pool and nice play area for children overall a great pick for families with children.
It's not a bad place to live. Decent sized apartment, nice pool and bathroom area. Only critique for that general area would be that it needs a better gym.
