A mostly agricultural community located about 20 miles southeast of Visalia, the Lindsay/Strathmore neighborhood provides easy access to amenities via arrow-straight rural highways to the area's small towns. Long fields of row crops and verdant orchards line the quiet stretch of road between Lindsay and Strathmore, creating a pastoral landscape that feels miles away from the city.
The rural feel of Highway 65 and others aside, Lindsay/Strathmore is about halfway between Fresno and Bakersfield, with about an hour to each. Sequoia National Forest is just east of Lindsay/Strathmore, providing amazing hiking, mountain biking, and camping among the majestic Sequoias. Visit the underground Crystal Cave and climb Moro Rock, a giant granite dome with amazing views.
