Midtown Baltimore encompasses a number of distinct urban neighborhoods in the heart of the city. Madison Park, Bolton Hill, Mid-Town Belvedere, and Mount Vernon all fall under the umbrella of the “Midtown” moniker. This bustling arts center is bolstered by the University at Baltimore and the Maryland Institute College of Art. After work or school, locals enjoy riding their bikes through Pearlstone Park, which is in walking distance of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.
Because of its walkability, you can easily access the plentiful bars and restaurants from your apartment. The Brewer’s Art brewpub has an excellent selection of homemade Belgian-style beers and fabulous food items. Whether it’s getting to work or class on time, residents are relieved they live so close to Interstate 83 and MTA stations for an easy commute.

Property Ratings at Mount Vernon Apartments
This is a great place if you like freezing to death because there is no heat or insulation. You will feel every gust of wind (and Baltimore is a VERY windy city), and you can heat your apartment all day and it won't go above 60F. This place was fine as a starter apartment in Baltimore before getting to know the neighborhoods and all the suburbs outside of it and DC. You have many better choices. This area is also mostly homeless people or college students, so I think the management probably figured they can get away with providing zero services since young kids don't know any better. If you're a working professional adult who has their head on straight, this is no place for you to live. The location is also terrible. People will talk about how "walkable" Mount Vernon is. A neighborhood is NOT WALKABLE if there is nothing to WALK TO. No grocery store (food desert), all the restaurants and corner shops that you would think you could go to for a quick bite are some of the worst places I've ever been to. One place on Chase St gave me severe food poisoning. The front call box never works, so I hope you also like never getting your mail. Don't bother.
Happily living at Earl Court. The views are incredible of Mount Vernon and the location is fantastic. The apartment has high end kitchen appliances and hardwood floors. So far management is very responsive.
My unit must have been recently renovated. All the appliances are new and apartment was exactly what I was looking for. I haven't been in the location that long, but everything I have asked for from management has been taken care of quickly. A
Would give my apartment 5/5 stars. It’s a perfect blend of historical property with modern finishes and a great location. I love being able to get to DC or philly in an hour from walking out my door. Or obviously downtown in 5 minutes.
I moved into one of the newly renovated apartments in March. Got a sweet deal because they were doing lease-up so I don't think they are still offering. The building is 2 blocks from penn station and university of baltimore so I don't need a car. Have not had any issues with the apartment at all since the building is newly renovated
I love the location where I can walk to the train station for my commute to DC and have all the conveniences of Mt Vernon. Starbucks and Chipotle just a block away. The building has a new elevator and my unit was just updated. Very pleased.
Had the best experience living here! Right near transportation. Apartment was perfect size for myself and my dog. My dog actually made more friends than me haha. Building staff was so nice. I could go on and on about living here. I am extremely happy with my apartment!
What an improvement! Not gonna lie, it was kind of a dump before. I’m very pleased tho with the new look and comfort of my apartment. Planning to stay for a while. Good stuff.
I recently moved into Earl Court and love the location. It is right across the street from Yogaworks where I exercise in the mornings. I live on the top floor and have a great view of the whole city. Then rent is very affordable for the quality you get.
Just moved in after the new management came in and did a total renovation. Can't beat the location, amenities, and price!
