My boyfriend and I have lived in Monterra for almost 3 years now. When we first saw the apartment we fell in love with how much space and great layout, plus how quiet and peaceful it is. What really sold us on living here in the first place was Deb and Debbie in the office. Both of them really care about every resident here and do what they can to help in any situation. They always have treats ready for our dog when they see him, know us and him by name. We now have a daughter and they are always so kind to her and have loved seeing her grow. The maintenance staff is also wonderful. We will miss all of them when it is time for us to move into our home. They have truly made living here a great experience.

Hello, Today my wife and I went into Monterra to look for a two bedroom for an immediate move in for our daughter. Cheryl was the only one in the office and she informed us that she did not have any two bedrooms available until June. She did offer to tour incase anything else came available and also offered a one bedroom if that was something we were interested in for June 8th but we need it for her this month. She was kind enough to suggest other locations near by and other properties in the FT Myers areas that was owned by the same company. I did not want to have my daughter in Ft. Myers but we did check out the ones close to Monterra that she actually took time to call and check availability to save us time on the travel since we been going everywhere with no luck. She found one that said they had one available and we went there. I am happy we found one in our time frame. If Monterra had an available unit I would of rented there simply because of her great customer service and extra effort to help us when that was not necessary.

This is a wonderful community. The apartments are spacious and clean. The pool area is gorgeous and has a brand new outdoor kitchen/grill area. The only thing better than how beautiful the grounds are, is the high quality of the office and maintenance staff. It is a constant battle with people from outside the community dropping off their trash into our recycle bins and leaving their unwanted furniture and things in the trash and recycle area. Anyone can basically enter the community since the gate is generally left open. The recycle bins are overflowing with trash and it looks like the city dumpsite. The community is overrun by raccoons because of the trash overflow problem. The community is too cheap to pay to have the recycle picked up more often so that we don't have this issue. They also refuse to put in surveillance cameras in the trash and recycle area to catch those who do not live here when they dump their garbage and furniture here. The trash compactor is not automatic so if it is full and no one is here to hit the button to turn it on, residents just pile the trash outside the compactor which is why there is an issue with raccoons. There is also a raccoon running around with rabies that almost attacked me, it was growling and ran into my car. I have never lived in a community with these issues before in all my years of renting. I will not be renewing my lease.

Great community and well maintained space. Large apartments. A little dated, but worth the price. The pool is nice. The clubhouse has been closed due to COVID, but the updates look great. The outdoor grill area is very nice and able to accommodate many people.

This is a very nice apartment complex and convenient to everything Bonita Springs has to offer. I have a two bedroom, two bath apartment with very generous square footage. Maintenance is very prompt and the office staff is great. You will not be disappointed to rent here.

The staff is magnificent. They are all very polite, kind, thoughtful and wonderful to be around. The maintenance staff are both very friendly and always get the work orders completed and done right in a timely manner. The landscapers are always here on Monday to maintain the wonderful grounds here. It is very clean and a beautiful place to live. -K.M.

I am starting my third year of living at Monterra. I just love the lifestyle here. The fully grown preserve keep it quiet and tropical as you walk around the community. The apartments are large and spacious with great storage inside of them. On most week days the pool is empty so it's like having your own pool in your backyard. The maintenance staff is awesome! When you create a work order they are right on it. The management team is great and totally works with you when any issues arise. Everyone is doing their best during the tough times of covid-19. The neighbors are super friendly and many are willing to lend a helping hand. I am here for the long haul. I'm close to the beach, shopping malls and restaurants. A gem in Bonita Springs.

My boyfriend and I moved into a 1 bedroom after we graduated and we've had an amazing experience for the past year! Deborah is amazing shes answered all my questions quickly since before moving in! Our lease was up during the beginning of Covid-19 and we didn't know how much longer we needed to stay in the area and she helped by emailing me different re-leasing options for us! I love how we pay for valet trash and they come Sun-Thurs to pick it up outside our front door! Plus we recycle and the office gives you special recycling bags that valet trash also picks up! (and you can keep going back to get more... and air filters for free) I love the pool and gym! Plus they just finished building a new gazebo and grilling area that is just beautiful! The maintenance staff is friendly, quick and helpful! The lawn crew comes every week and even cleans the buildings every so often!

I’ve been living in Monterra for a little over a year now and it has been a fantastic experience!! Maintenance is very quick to respond to requests, it’s easy to pay rent online, the staff is always friendly and helpful, and they do a great job at keeping us tenants informed via email/text regarding what’s going on in the neighborhood. The neighborhood is also very clean and peaceful. I highly recommend Monterra as your next choice of living.

Do not rent from this place. i have a leak that has been ongoing for the last four months. there is mold on the patio and in the ceiling. they promise it will be fixed but it is still leaking. i am at my wits end and disgusted by the managements smug attitude. while I'm at it this is supposed to be a gated community but the gate has been working less than 5% of the time i have been here. the stairs leading up to my unit are filthy/sticky and never cleaned.

I absolutely love Monterra. The community has a pool, community center with a pool table, and a gym. The apartments are very well kept and huge compared to other communities I looked at. If there is ever a maintenance problem they fix it right away. Monterra is a great place to live and it is dog friendly. It is close to everything in Bonita like the beach, flea market, and lots of restaurants as well. A
Generous size apartments. Quiet. No noise from neighbors. Convenient location. Washer/Dryers in units. Extra storage room. Fast response from maintenance crew. Only thing I would say could be improved is the A/C units are old and too small.
MADE A GOOD CHOICE! SERVICE IS REMARKABLE. I HEAR NOTHING IN MY APARTMENT BUT ME. HANDICAP PARKING OUTSIDE MY DOOR..LOVE, LOVE THE STORAGE ROOM AND CLOSETS.
Generous interior spaces. Big kitchen and master. Seperate laundry room with washer and dryer. Extra storage in back of laundry! Maintenance is top notch! Always repaired within the same day. Grounds are lush and manicured. Close to I75 and Naples. Some apartments need updated appliances and AC units. Parking can be limited in first couple of buildings
They haven't picked up the trash from the compactor and the recyclables from the dumpster for a long time. Also there is a barking dog above me and it barks all the time. It's a gated community but anyone can get in so it might as well not even be there. The pool is always filled with kids and it's not aerated so it's like bath water temperature. The people who work here inside the leasing office can be rude and condescending. The mail here can be sketch and it takes forever to send / receive things. Overall it's not a bad place, it's just wayyy over priced for what it is.
