Property Ratings at Monterosso
Since moving into this apartment in June, the leasing office has changed four managers in 4 months, and the office is often notified to closed. My parking spot was also changed three times in four months. When I came back home at 10 pm, I found that my parking spot was occupied by other car. I did know where should I park my car. The buildings are only cleaned once a week, and garbage is often seen on the ground and inside the elevator. The fire stairs often smell the smell of marijuana. The worst management ever experienced.

It LOOKS really nice. How they got us but infested with roaches, leasing office is horrible you can’t reach them they are rude talk to you like children and retaliate if you try to hard to say this is unacceptable conditions. Hallways actually smell horrible and unclean. Multiple packages of mine have been stolen. Parking has been an issue for months and they don’t care because they probably make money off of all the cars they tow. Car was vandalized. People smoking in the hallways and stairs. Just Fake luxury.

I have been living here for no more than two months already, and the conditions have not been pleasing for what is supposed to be a “luxury” apartment. First, there’s a roach infestation not only in my unit but also in the hallways. You don’t see them on the first floor as much, since it’s obvious management wants the first thing potential renters see be clean, but once you go to the 2nd floor and above, they are everywhere. Contributing to the roach problem is trash being in the hallways. When we first moved in, we could barely walk the hallways to our unit because the hallway had boxes all over the place by the trash door (also not accessible to the tenants). Management is not enforcing tenant’s leaving trash outside their doors after pick-up hours either. They’ve added an extra day of valet trash but the people who live here are still filthy. Second, our A/C did not work for 6 days. It was 85 degrees inside the apartment the whole Time. People who live in Florida know that is it unbearable to be outside with the heat and to have heat inside is unacceptable as well. I put in a maintenance request the day it went off and the following day I had to call the office to make sure someone was coming, but of course, they never came. My partner reached out to the office and was turned away because “It would be unfair to push your request up the list due to the Fair Housing Act” although by term of the lease, if it is 85 degrees outside and there is not AC, it should be an emergency maintenance request. Lastly, there’s a huge lack of communication with management. They recently locked the lobby doors, and now tenants can’t even use their key fob to enter the building. They changed the office hours to appointment only and they already don’t answer to phone calls and emails as it is. It’s incredibly inconvenient, especially after paying rent for a place that already has so many issues. On top of that, we have been excommunicated by the office when we voiced all these grievances because they said my partner was “a safety threat to staff” because he was speaking upset with them. We can only communicate by email which they don’t answer in the first place. I do not recommend living here. Until these issues are addressed, it’s not worth the rent or the hassle. Avoid this place if you can!

Love this place! Very quiet and I love that they steam the carpets in the hallways. The only thing is the towing is very strict but it keeps the community safe ??

They have the worst staff the regional manager it’s the worst person I never see in my life she mostly call me lying because I have big problem with my unit I recommend you don’t move here you can go to the others complex literally with the same price and finished and with really good human staff, I can only said something good about the maintenance guy I think name is Josè him doing excellent job because it’s the only person see around the floors cleaning and doing he work and the new manager Paola or Paula I don’t sure she is good person but she can’t move with out permissions of the regional !!!! I’m the first person move to here and the first person want to move out !!!
