The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Montecito
Very family oriented. My experience has been a great one for the most part.i have been living here off of a recommendation. my cousin lived here for years before, and I visited through the years he was living here and decided to move in the building over. The management is family operated, like husband, wife, and kids excetra helping from time to time. Giving that they care about it and the people who live here. I actually know my neighbor's and their kids, and that's saying a lot. I was compelled to write a review since I felt it wasn't a fair shake on the reviews. Once again, my cousin told me he was moving back here and saw the review on the building about the flooding. When the rainy season happened, it flooded everywhere. Not like everywhere the management family put out water pumps and drained almost all the water out in the rain as it was happening. After I called about it within the hour, it was almost non-existent. I even haven't seen any roaches in my unit or rodents, so I'm not sure when or how long ago those people have lived here, but have lived in far worse buildings and I always see people move and end up moving back like my cousin. I also know that when ever i have a problem the manager answers my text messages right away. They even just changed to online payments. There is people who lived her for more than 10 years plus and say it has came a long way. I dont plan to be here for ten years like my neighbors but i can see it go by for a while.
- the building had roaches. They refuse to tent the whole building so the bugs just move from one apartment to another -Front door is broken and due to this delivery’s get stolen daily and management does nothing - every year the courtyard floods when it rains ( I have lived here 3 years) and it floods every year. - the washer is always broken and will eat your money, management does nothing
I have lived here for a few years and not planning on moving anytime soon. The complex has a nice open space layout with laundry facilities, bbq grill and an onsite manager. The manager and her family are very friendly, attentive, professional and fair. She is quick to respond to noise complaints, work orders and even accepts/ handles packages when not home to receive them. The new owners have invested in facility upgrades and the manager takes pride in keeping the clean.
I have been living here for more than one year and a half, the place is pretty good for the price. They are very fast when to fix the things once I have problem with the bathroom the fixed it in the same day. I really recommend the place, the manager is really nice and friendly.
I am currently looking for a house and came across the bad reviews for the Montecito. I have lived here for a couple years now and this is one of the best apartments I have ever lived in. Most of the tenants have lived here for several years and are all friendly to each other. It is not unusual to see more than one apartment barbecuing together on the weekends. The turnover since I've lived here is minimal which must say something about it. I know this building has been here since the 80's at least but the apartments themselves are up to date and nice. Any time I have had a problem (plumbing, parking, etc.) the managers have taken care of it quickly. I just wanted to write this review because the current reviews on this site are not accurate.
