Morristown is a fairly small city positioned about forty miles northeast of Knoxville just off of Interstate 81. The city’s rich history is packed with stories that have formed the local identity: legendary frontiersman Davy Crockett spent his formative years in and around Morristown, and the surrounding area saw numerous skirmishes during the Civil War.
