Property Ratings at Monaco Park
Horrible management. Apartments are old and falling apart. Constantly having electrical and heat/cooling issues. Multiple occasions the AC unit broke in the middle of summer and had to go DAYS with air conditioning while being a night shift worker and having to sleep during the day in an almost 90 degree apartment. Multiple outlets NEVER worked in the apartment. Management constantly harassing you over minor petty issues when their real concern should be with fixing apartments that are falling apart and becoming hazardous. Be prepared to never see your deposit again and be charged outrageous fees upon your move out. I wouldn't even recommend this place to an enemy honestly. Lesson learned, Monaco Park is a HORRIBLE place to live. Save your time and keep searching for an actual place to call home. TRUST THE REVIEWS MY FRIENDS!!!
I’ve been at this residence for 2 1/2 years always had a problem looking for a parking space having to walk a ways to get grocery’s or laundry home because there’s no parking then recently got a $200 fine for pulling my car outside the gate to smoke been smoking outside the gate the whole 2 1/2 years and never was told I couldn’t smoke there maintenance and other workers have seen me outside the gate and nothing was ever said till now I was told I throw my cigarette butts on the ground when I have a cup holder inside my car I put my butts in can’t wait till my 5months are up here get complaints for doing my carpet cleaning maybe if they did them everytime I renewed my lease I wouldn’t have too heads up for anyone looking to move here
Current resident- Would give this less than 0 stars if I could. The first year I lived here was better than this last year I’ve lived here, although there were roaches, management was a lot nicer and way more helpful. This whole last year the gate has been broken almost consistently the last year, we have ants have had mice in our apartment. Dishwasher hasn’t been fixed the last year even though we’ve called them 4 times to fix it. The current management sucks, any time I call they never answer, nor get back with me. My fiancé emailed them recently and it literally took them 3 whole days to even email him back. The whole complex seems very let go and run down, they do not take care of this place at all. Last summer the pool was shut down half of the time, we couldn’t even go swim cause it was dirty or lay out cause it was just closed. Today is a beautiful Sunday and my fiancé and I want to lay outside, but we can’t because all of the chairs are just gone? The chairs have been there all winter when we have walked past the pool, why would they remove them? Last year 2-3 months before our lease was up they sent a letter notifying us saying thank you for staying with us a whole year and please re lease with us at a discounted price with a lollipop, this year however they gave me NO NOTICE AT ALL!!! I thought once our lease was up we could leave - as we have fulfilled the lease for a year, so we found another apartment we are moving to and already put a deposit down. The new place I am moving to told me that Monaco will not even verify to them that I live here!!! Now Monaco will not even let us leave without giving them a 60 day notice, and now that our lease is over they’re making us pay $200 more month to month than what we paid for this last year - even though we have a broken gate, broken key pad to get in, broken dishwasher, broken hallway light, had a broken heater for a week during winter, had roaches, & mice! I am absolutely LIVID!! I do not recommend this place to even my worst enemy! DO NOT MOVE HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!!!! DO NOT!!!
I have lived here almost 5 years...I am moving as soon as my lease is up! Gates stay open for months at a time(nearly all of 2015 & half of 2016)...pools closed 50% of the summer in 2016. Currently laundry facilities have been closed for over 2 months! In the past, when washers break down, they take at least 2-3 months to get them fixed. Managers just make excuses and always say "we are working on it". Meanwhile, they raise your rent at renewal time. Lots of people leaving...used to be a great place but no longer.
I moved from another of the Leinbach properties and I am very happy here. The staff are all very helpful and respond quickly when something is needed. I plan on renewing my lease when the time comes. I think this is one of the best values in this part of town.
