      I like the community as a whole, i wish some of the residents with their guest were respectful every time they use the amenities and parked in their paid spot or to uncovered ones. Some also drives without caution like they driving more than the expected speed limit. I hope the management can do something to limit/prevent this unpleasant events.

      My time here has been really great so far. The pool is pretty nice although it could be cleaned more. My apartment itself is wonderful however my neighbors smoke weed which is annoying but overall it’s great.

      Great place to live. Lots of amenities. Friendly staff. Very dog friendly. The stuff that bugs me is mostly other tenants. Parking HUGE trucks in compact spaces. Not even compact spaces sometimes. It’s hard to park next to a giant truck next to my spot. Parking so far into spots that bumper or hitch hangs over the sidewalk. Not picking up dog poop. I also hate that I can’t call the office and speak to a person.

      Kandi and Bill are incredible. They made our move from a 3-bed to a 2-bed super easy and we are thrilled with how well they treat us and CARE about us. The pool is our favorite amenity but the basketball gym and the workout gym are great too. Maintenance is also quick and efficient. They've fixed a few issues for us over the last year (these apartments are new builds) and we couldn't be more thankful for their fast service. I would highly recommend Modera!

      My apartment has a ton of drafts. Parking kinda sucks. Overhead microwave/stove hood fan doesn't work very well. Valet trash is inconsistent. Other than that we love it here

      Apartments look nice, but cheaply made. Cold air will come through the wall and around the door making the in unit heater inefficient. Vehicle charging used to be free, now it’s an additional fee on top of our personal electric bill and community electric fee. A few times, dumpsters will be overfilled and trash, laying all over the place.

      it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. The management team is incredibly responsive and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure residents are comfortable. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with clean walkways, inviting outdoor spaces. I especially love the pool area and the fitness center—both are always spotless and never too crowded. The community is also very quiet and peaceful, which makes it easy to relax after a long day. The neighborhood in general is very friendly. Location-wise, it’s perfect!       My husband and I have been living here since 2023 and it has been one of the best places we’ve ever lived at. The amenities are beautiful and they have a gym that is really functional and convenient. They recently opened up two walking trails that are also beautiful & have a couple of playgrounds for children to enjoy. The apartments are very nice although I’m not the biggest fan of the carpeting but that is the only negative thing I have to say about this place. The staff is very friendly and are quick to respond when we have any issues whether it is questions about rent or maintenance issues. They genuinely look like they enjoy what they do, they’ve hosted countless parties in which they give out free food & drinks to not only the guests but friends. Neighborhood is also great not much to complain about, this is definitely a place I recommend to people.

      The trash situation here is the worst I have ever seen especially on Sundays. There are piles upon piles of trash every weekend and it smells terrible. On top of that I hate getting billed ~$20-25 a month in extra trash fees because people dump stuff there like couches. I don’t think it’s fair I have to pay $300/yr for other people’s actions. Given what we pay already it’s just adding more costs but makes sense given Modera is corporate owned and has no way of holding people accountable. Same goes for dog poop all over the property. It’s an absolute mess everywhere you walk. I see about one person a day not pick up poop. Again goes back to not holding anyone accountable and accepting poor habits and lazy actions. Just sucks cause I end up suffering with extra costs and dealing with a dirty complex. I don’t let my kids go out in the grass or play areas anymore because of the dog poop everywhere. It’s sad but no one cares.

      Poop Stained Luxary

      New Resident -- 1 Month Check In -- Luxury Price Tag Apartments -- without the "Luxury" monitoring of communal walking & green spaces. Walking out from your apartment, it's guaranteed you will step on dog poop. Nice & Stressful. Dog owners allow their dogs to defecate all over community walkways and in barriers. Very low urgency/priority to curb this behavior. Take a single dog out 3 times a day. 3 dog poop mounds X 30 days. THAT's 90 mounds of poop many residents like myself have to constantly evade to not track **** into our "Luxury" spaces. "Peace of Mind" Guarantee is offered by the Mill Creek Parent company but expect owning a dog here to be completely stressful.

      I try hard not to run the wall heaters because the second you turn them off, the place returns to being just as cold as if you did not have them.There is a constant cold air flow around the doors, windows, AC hookup, outlet plugs throughout the kitchen. The two ceiling fans that are required to constantly filter out the air in the bathroom and above the washer and dryer also pull out any warmth. You are unable to shut these off as they are to help minimize mold. Even on the lowest setting your just paying for the heat to be removed. The biggest frustration is the Valet trash delivery. The stairs are completely covered with leaky garbage. My partner and I would like to volunteer to power wash the apartment steps for modern lacey for a compensation on monthly rent. We really want to make this place sparkle and are more than willing to help if you have the equipment?

      Apartment looked a little different from pictures, the spare bedroom and bathroom are bigger than the bedroom that connects to bathroom which is weird. Nothing really bad about it but nothing great about it. Parking is kinda rough if you don’t have carport. A little pricey for what it is but it’s new. The apartment looked used since the floor looked worn and scratched up, cabinet had a crack in it, dryer has a dent in it, a lot of random stuff like that. But still nothing too crazy. You don’t get a choice in the internet and it’s pretty crappy, if you’re a gamer, good luck. But it is conveniently close to both parts of Lacey. And close to I-5 but not too close to worry about homeless people, I feel pretty safe here.

      Living in Modera apartments has been so great! It is clean and quiet. I enjoy the fact that only the bedroom has carpet as it could be a pain if every area was carpeted. I love how there are great walking paths to walk my dog. Additionally, the gym has a great amount of equipment that fulfills my exercise needs!

      My immediate neighbors aren’t that friendly but the staff are amazing. The amenities are really cool. I go to the clubhouse every morning for a mocha from the coffee machine and say hi to the office crew. They always have a friendly greeting from me and they love my dog Kai. Kai loves the dog biscuits. The community is fairly nice. It is really dog friendly and many of the dog owners greet each other as we see each other in our morning constitutionals. We moved here for the dog park and grooming station last year. It’s hard to find dog friendly apartments. Kai loves it here. We didn’t use the garden this year but I think we will be planting one next year. My fiancée and her daughter love to garden and it would be nice next year to have some fresh veggie. Modera has been the home we were looking for.

      I've held off on leaving a review until we've gotten settled and the new move jitters have worn off. We've been living here at Modera for almost 3 months now and we still love it! Kandi was incredibly helpful while touring our options and laying out the process for us. The apartment is sleek and clean. It is close to the freeway but the place seems well insulated so no outside noise is heard with the doors shut. The maintenance has been responsive, with even same day service. The amenities are fabulous! Before they shut down the pool for the season they held a pup party complete with pup cups. If I had one complaint it would be that people are not good about picking up after their dogs, especially in the dog park. That's more a reflection on the pet owners than the facility though. So far we are in love with our life here and plan to stay for as long as we live in the area.

      Very nice facilities, especially the gym. The lobby is kept clean and the staff is kind. Decent customer service and response time with repairs too, though there can be hiccups getting work orders in outside of regular business hours. The outdoor public areas are also generally quite nice, but a lot of residents don’t seem to pick up after their dogs, even on common walking trails.
