Move in day was horrible. The apartment was not in move-in condition. They had to send back cleaners because it was disgusting. Then, the washer didn’t work. Three months later, several unanswered emails, no communication from the Property manager, and seven work orders, it finally works. I’ve asked numerous times to talk to someone about the experience here, but not one person responds.

The Good: Great location, right at Olive Blvd and I-270, for easy access to anywhere in West County. Creve Coeur has good restaurant and shopping options. Units are clean, property pretty well maintained. Bonus: having washer/dryer in-unit is great! No more schlepping to a laundry room or laundrymat! The Bad: the property has been changing owners every couple of years now for 4-5 years, and the ease of payment is going down even as rents are going up. If you pay online from their website by e-check, there's a pay-by-check surcharge. If you pay by credit/debit card, there's a card-processing fee. Basically, if you don't physically go to the office and drop a check or money order, you're paying extra. The Ugly: about two owners back, they decided to go with hardwood floors instead of carpeted, likely for cost-savings reasons. Coupled with thin walls and lack of soundproofing, you are going to hear every footstep your upstairs neighbor takes. If they have pets (esp. dogs,) when your neighbors leave for work and their dogs get separation anxiety, you will hear every whine, bark, yip, yowl and howl they make until Mommy/Daddy comes home. If they have kids (esp. active toddlers), you will hear them running/sprinting back-and-forth all hours of the day and night, hear them jumping off furniture to land like a paratrooper on the floor such that it sounds like someone dropping bowling balls on the floor. If you work a 2nd or 3rd shift and are sleeping during the daytime, then good luck: noisy neighbors and their pets makes this a serious challenge. I hope you like sleeping/trying to sleep with ear plugs (I do, and they don't always work).

This community doesn't care about falling trees.(two huge trees fall together. If the tree next to it falls again, it is likely to affect the house. but they never care about it, and leave them more than 1 year.) The fallen trees on the southeast side ruined the feng shui of the community. People living in this community will have their health and wealth affected. That's why this community is going downhill. And their managers keep changing and cannot be stable. Not enough repair workers. Often, it is not possible to respond to the requirements of the residents in time. If something is broken, it takes a long time for someone to repair it. All who live there will feel their finances and health hampered, discomfort, frustration, and stagnation…

When you decide to rent an apartment from them, I want to make it easy for you to make an informed decision. One month ago, I decided to rent an apartment from them, and I called them ten times to ask about the floor. I also left messages through this website and emailed them. Due to backache, I cannot live at the top. There was no response. Since they have websites and ads on apartment.com and Zillow, I trusted them. As a result, I paid the deposit in hopes that they would see my application and get in touch with me. I sent them an email and called them again and left a voice message. No response again! I went to the office, but nobody was there. The message was written on paper and placed in the office. As a result of this awful responsibility, I decided to cancel my application! The next day, someone contacted me to complete the process, and I explained the situation to her and requested a refund of my deposit. My application was canceled, but my deposit has not yet been refunded! I have emailed again and have not received a response!!

I have lived here for 5 years. Never planned on it being that long. So nice here and quiet. Great staff!!! Kevin gets things done promptly. Takes care of anything right away. I appreciate that. The office staff is very efficient!! They are so nice to deal with. Just a great community!!

I Love this community and enjoy living here. Very good neighborhood, accessible to all places. Apartment units are spacious and really good (Loving the upgrades made). Pro: The staff is really nice and accommodating. They respond very quickly to questions and concerns. The community space and pool are nice amenities. Cons: The apartments are really dark. There is no over head lighting which heavily affects mood. The common space is closes at 530pm.

Renew Creve Couer is awesome! I recently moved here after having a string of bad luck staying at dirty, and a lot of maintenance apartments in the area. I was hoping for the best and I definitely got it and more. The staff are awesome. Christine and Allie answered all of my questions and were so helpful. They just recently did a bunch of renovations to the apartments and the clubhouse which turned out great. I love the new gym and oh did I mention there’s a pool!! If you are looking for a place in the STL area then look no further!

I moved into heather Ridge after I moved into town for work. I needed a place ASP and Carlos (now replaced) worked with me and moved me in. The buildings looked old, and the stairs were dirty but I am low maintenance, and the place was close to my job so I did not bother. During the move in inspection; I realized the apartment was DIRTY, from the carpet, fridge to kitchen walls, and toilet. I noted all these and the office promised to wash my carpet, which never happened more than a year later. 3 months in, i noticed bite mark on my arms, and itching. I thought i was allergic to something...long story short the place was infested with BED BUGS. The pest control inspector said they have at least been breeding for a year or more......I threw away my clothes and new furniture ( delivered from the store a week after i moved in) They said they treated it( i was at work so i took their word for it)but it is back. A Few months ago during rains, the entire window fell off...I have been leaving with a windowless room for 3 months, and I keep getting reassured it will be replaced. It gets worse....Now the roof is leaking, they asked me to put a bucket on it, and signs are they wont be doing anything about it anytime soon. I have never written a review or complained online, but this place is a joke. Unless you have no other option, save yourself a headache.

I love everything about Heather Ridge. I have a 2 bedroom, street level apt and a covered parking spot. It's an additional fee, but I love the convenience that its right outside my apartment and I never have to worry about cleaning my car in the winter and I will always have the same spot. I live in a great location on the property and awesome neighbors. It's a very quiet and safe place to live. The office staff is friendly and outgoing. They always make my maintenance request priority no matter how small. I like that they have different activities to offer the residents in efforts to bring the community together. The location is awesome its within walking distance of grocery stores, all the major highways, department stores, furniture stores, gas stations, banks etc. Its surrou ded by other upscale communities such as Olivette, Westport, Chesterfield and Ladue. Im closer to work it takes me 6 minutes to get there. Parkway school district is one of the top rated schools in the country. I love the apartments are in a secluded area very limited traffic. Another perk I saved over half on my car insurance moving here. The rent is the cheapest I have found in Creve Coeur. My time here has been very peaceful and enjoyable. I am proud to say I live at Heather Ridge Apartments. I will recommend anyone to live here.
