Property Ratings at Millburn
I’ve had a two bedroom apartment for over five years at Millburn. Neighbors are friendly and local management helpful. Just like all apartments, there have been some issues over the years, but they all get resolved. I’d make the same choice all over again.
We just signed the lease so I can update once we are further along but they have been so nice, communicative, professional, and helpful. It really feels like a community here and it seems like they take pride in ownership.
I started out in a 2 bedroom 1 bath, plenty of room, very nice. I had to put my mother into a nursing home and downgraded to a 1 bedroom and it's plenty big enough for me and my small cat. The living room is plenty big enough and I have an island that has three rows for books that I use to hold DVD and other random stuff, it also has two cabinets in the island. The kitchen is plenty big enough for two people to move around in, the counter space is a little small but with the island it's not an issue. I would like to have a double sink but the single sink works but would be nice to have a higher faucet, it is somewhat difficult to rinse larger pans. Plenty of cabinet space. The utility room is plenty big enough for a washer and dryer, though the dryer sticks out a bit because of where the hose goes down into the floor to release the hot air. Even with a washer, dryer, and water heater I have room to store some other things and have a litter box in there. In my bedroom I have a queen size bed, to utilize space one side is against the wall and it leaves plently of room to have a tv stand and tv. Closet space is decent for not being a walk in closet. The hallway closet is similar to the closet in the bedroom. The bathroom is a bit small and cramped the linen closet is a nice size. There is like attic space or something like that for extra storage, I haven't been up there or stored anything but for someone who needs extra room it's available. The apartment manager on site is amazing, she gets things done quickly and is always available to help you if you need something. Unites are electric only so it can get a little costly in the winter, not sure if I need a better window in my living room, 1 bedroom units do not have a thermostat and my heater/ac doesn't show me what I'm setting it to, so I have to gauge by how warm or cold I get or use a little indoor thermometer which isn't really accurate. Rent can seem a little high because you do pay for water, garbage, and sewage on top of the rent. Overall, it's worth it because it's a pretty quiet area as far as neighbors go, can be a little noisy with cars going by and planes over head during the day.
Excellent apartment. Excellent management. Excellent service. Highly recommended.
