Located about five miles west of the University of South Florida, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Adventure Island, and University Mall, the charming Carrollwood neighborhood is convenient to everything Tampa has to offer, but slightly removed to be a peaceful escape at the end of the day. I absolutely ADORE living here. I love my space and its additions. It’s quite cozy for me and my pup! My family loves to visit here, too! You may wonder why I gave the community only 4/5 stars. As the lay of the land shows, there are various buckets around the community for having a pet’s waste being placed in them. However, many of the community neighbors DO NOT PICK UP AFTER THEIR PETS. It is quite frustrating and terribly disgusting of a scene to experience DAILY, day and night, around any grassed area. Pet waste bags are provided to the community for use for free and, yet, they are not being used. The community (your neighbor) doesn’t care that you have a puppy and their dog may have heartworm, leaving their pet’s waste exposed to your new(born) pup. For anyone who reads this review, please note that there are a few bad apples everywhere but the majority of this community is quite grand, especially the staff of Sean and McKenna.

Normally, when I do these, my resident experience is usually five but probably the past year maybe nine months things have kind of started to change the apartments severely need to be updated inside. I see that the fees when I get my statement, things are continually going up. and I know they say the rent has gone up. It’s everywhere, but when I look at other places online everywhere doesn’t look like this inside for the amount of money that I pay for the square footage of this apartment it should at least look like it inside I don’t even have a washer and dryer so I hope this message reaches the property owners. I know Management here he can. Shawn can only do so much and he does as much as he can, but the owners really need to start investing on updating the inside of these apartments.

Sometimes they don’t clean the dog stations and there is trash around and that is one of the main issues. Also, sometimes you can see homeless walking around at night.

The community is mostly nice. We absolutely adore maintenance. They are the best part about living here, they are so quick and so thorough. The apartments themselves are nice although quite humid. There is an almost constant smell of weed in the parking lot, though, and some of the neighbors leave trash around the parking lot and on the grass areas. The walls are also pretty thin. Overall, it's a nice place to live and affordable.

I lived here for about two years and love the pond. We feed the ducks our bread weekly, and it is very fun to watch the sunsets. The gym is nice and the staff is always very helpful.

For weeks we have had no poop bags in most of the stations and people are not fined for not picking up their dogs poop. The laundry room is always not working great and dirty. The rent is WAY to high for what we pay for.

Ive been to a few different apartment complexes down here in Tampa, but Milana has been the best in terms of quality, price, and overall living. Good staff who actually care and will talk with you.

Power outages frequently and maintenance is more of rigging/band aids instead of fixing have to pay for smart home even if you don’t want it
