Berrien Springs feels suburban but if your drive towards the outskirts of town it feels like a pastoral dream. The area is surrounded by u-pick farms, ranches, and orchards. You can find residents out at Shamrock Park, a year-round camping and fishing park, catching salmon, walleye, and steelhead fish from the Saint Joseph River. The biggest event of the year pays tribute to Berrien Springs’ agricultural roots. The Berrien County Youth Fair features an array of agricultural contests for llamas, goats, rabbits, and other livestock along with classic carnival activities.
Berrien Springs is part of Berrien County, which is known for its wineries. Naturally, there are a lot of vineyards in and around the village that residents frequent.

Property Ratings at Midway Apartments
Management has very poor communication skills. I inquired about availability, a tour, and an application. They sent an email with no name, no introduction, no punctuation, and not even a subject line. They did not answer basic questions about the apartment and application process. They ignored my request for a tour and wanted me to submit an application without even viewing the unit. Very unprofessional and their application system is extremely outdated. Based on that interaction alone, I lost interest. You may have a different experience and the units may be a great community to live in. That interaction just turned me off completely. Maybe don’t rule it out if you like the area, but be prepared for poor communication.
