The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Midtown Stillwater
The positives- close to campus and nice (relatively new) but parking is $$$ and the spaces are extremely tight. WiFi goes out constantly and there are fees upon fees. Do not recommend if you actually need to do homework and need reliable internet

We regret to hear about the issues you've experienced, particularly with our Wi-Fi service and parking fees. We understand how crucial reliable internet is, especially for academic purposes, and we are actively working on improving the service. We appreciate your patience and if there is anything we can do, please contact us at info@midtownsw.com.
This place is a scam. You get charged every month for utility "overages". The wi-fi hardly ever works. The move-out requirements are ridiculous. They want you to check under all appliances?! They only provide parking for 50% of the tenants. They don't notify you and then you find out the day you move in that you are not provided a parking spot. If you happen to be one of the lucky ones you will pay $69 a month to park there. Lastly, they walk into your apartment unannounced and they never answer the phones or return your emails. Please do not live here.

Tried to give charges from before they took over. Awful communication. "Fixes" things by making them worse and cheaper.

I’m so sorry — it sounds like we really missed the mark on your experience. Can we make it up to you? Please reach out to us.
My son lived there for two years and it was good at first. The new management has added lots of fees and had many issues with the Wi-Fi and other amenities. You are not guaranteed a parking spot. When you move out they will send you a ridiculous bill for things like dust and the photos they use to back up their claims are not of the correct apartment. Then management just stonewalls. So, if you like never knowing how much you will pay and not getting to park or use wifi. Then go for it and live there.

We are so sorry we did not meet your expectations. We’d love to make this situation right and provide a solution that will result in a more positive experience. We hope to hear from you soon.
The apartment might seem nice but do not be fooled. The management is embarrassingly subpar, with a glaring lack of communication skills and care for their residents. The amenities rarely worked as the pool was often shut down, building and parking garage elevators going out week in and week out, WiFi (that was being paid for in the rent) went out for a little over 2 weeks during finals week, as well as dirty hallways and stairwells that reek of cigarettes and frequently have dog pee and trash littering the floors. If you are looking for somewhere to live in Stillwater, Midtown should NOT be your choice.

We’d like to apologize for the negative experience you had with us. We’ve taken your feedback and will work hard to implement needed changes. We'd love to make things right! Please reach out to us at your earliest convenience.
New management has been a nightmare for everyone. Increasing all prices and adding fees despite the fact that we’ve had amenities taken from us (like wifi during finals!). They came into every apartment to “upgrade” our faucets and shower heads… it now takes thirty seconds to fill my cupped hands with water because the pressure is so bad!

We're truly sorry to hear about your recent experience under the new management. We understand how our changes have caused inconvenience and we appreciate your feedback. Please be assured, we are committed to addressing these issues to improve the living conditions in our community. Thank you!
This is by far the worst place to live. The air quality is terrible. The water pressure is terrible. The wifi was “improved” but was actually made worse. The management will lie and say anything to get you out of the office. They will literally get an attitude with you if you force to them to actually do their job. Overall, it looks real nice when they show it to you and many people including me fell for it but a nice facade won’t mask how terrible this place is for long. I’d never recommend anyone to live here.

We're truly sorry to hear about your negative experience. We aim to provide great living conditions for all residents, so it's disappointing to fall short of that goal. Your feedback has been heard and will be used to make necessary improvements. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Living here was nice , being close to campus , food and events. But if you need any help from the front desk or managers just save your breath. Calling them is in inconvenience for them, nothing is ever done right nor are they ever respectful. Apparently there’s multiple managers, but you’ll never know their names or speak to them. You’ll get stuck arguing with a 20 year old girl that has no idea what she’s talking about and if they say they’ll give you a call back they won’t. They will also try to get money out of you for any reason. If you can find another place to live then do it.
I do not recommend this apartment. The staff makes it out be a great place to live when they are trying to sell it to you when in reality it is not. Has poor management. I had multiple incidents with random people trying to enter the apartment and damaging the door in the process. There are parties there every weekend and non-residents trash the hallways. Even if you pay for the parking garage majority of the time you will not have a parking spot. The fire alarm will also be pulled in the middle of the night often.
I love living at Midtown! The staff is so helpful and the maintenance team is so helpful! If you are looking for a place to live, Midtown is the place to be!!
My daughter lived here 1 year. The place is fairly well kept, although there were issues with people stealing welcome mats, anything hanging on the door, etc. We rented furniture from them. It was actually pretty good stuff. Here are the issues: Staff will only help you if they feel like it AND if you are super nice to them. I was told on 3 SEPERATE occassions, "I'll help you, your being very nice and respectful to me." Yes, we should all be nice and respectful, but if I'm upset and you take it wrong you won't help me?? Isn't that your job?? Isn't that what you get paid for?? Wow. Visions of winter entering my mind here... Also, when I had a problem with billing I had to make 4 phone calls. Each time I was told someone would get back to me. No one ever did. I emailed twice. Once I even got a response. However, they never answered my question or helped me. I just waited until I got an overdue notice. Suddenly they were willing to talk to me. Not that they hellped me. You know what? For $400 in overcharges I'm just calling it quits. Let them keep my money, it's not like they are going to help me. Maybe. If I'm nice to them.
I would not recommend living here if you can help it. I had the worst experience with their staff. The employees do not know what they are doing nor what they are talking about. They did not know who all was on my lease and were all very disrespectful. They tried to over charge me for moving furniture they did not move. They do not keep the hallways, stairwells, or the elevators clean. At one point they went almost a month without fixing the broken elevator. They do not care they just want your money. They charge you for the smallest things. They are way over priced for what they are.
It is a very nice apartment visually, yes. However, the management is absolutely horrible. We’ve had multiple problems with no resolution but they have no issue coming to our door requesting we sign another year long lease… get your act together
Parking is a HUGE problem!! My daughter loves the location and apt. There are no parking spots available in any of the garages owned by the apartments. However, those who have parking garage decals also park on the street therefore taking up the street parking spots. Then those who are without garage decals can’t park on the street OR in the garage. They do issue tickets from the city of stillwater if you park in the parking garage without a decal. Very VERY. Frustrating!! Apt is wonderful!! Huge downside though!
Our interactions with management at this complex have been extremely difficult. They are aggressive when questioned about problems and do NOT try to work things out amicably. Stay away from this place !!!!
I’m so excited for Midtown to open next month! It’s the nicest place in Stillwater, RIGHT off The Strip, with a ROOFTOP POOL! The apartments are super nice and brand new. Doesn’t get better than that!
