The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at MI-Place at the Shore
Broken AC, untended grounds, food and trash everywhere. Management doe not care about the welbeing of tenants. AC units all over the property are broken. Very few function. Little concern for issues from management staff. Lack of overall concern for residents. Cost of apartment is way too much for all the unresolved problems.
8/10 for this residential community; safe, gated, kind/friendly/open neighbors, lots of pets, good amount of greenery and trees. I did have a noise issue similar to another poster, however thankfully mine resolved. Management is generally responsive and they care about the residents. I had no serious pest/mold/safety/etc at this complex. The price is reasonable to all that you receive living here. Best in your search! :-)
Do not move here if you are sensitive to noise. The walls are extremely thin and you can hear everything your neighbor is doing. I put in several complaints with management and the office and it has yet to be resolved. I now have to go to corporate and the police station to file a complaint against my neighbor. I was hoping to not go this route. Overall the apartment set up is great, nice appliances too.
The management and leasing team are responsive. It is not always easy moving to a new area, but this location is perfect.
Having previously resided at Mi Place Rancocas compared to Mi Place at the shore, I must say it is night and day in comparison. Mi Place at the shore is poorly maintained. The property itself is made cheaply and there are a lot of defects within the apartments that are noticeable. Ive experienced having to fix multiple issues on my own after not having the issues rectified by maintenance. The property manager and staff are often disingenuous and severely lack customer service. The community is pitched as a gated facility however after residing there for two years I can attest to never seeing the gates secured. Overall given the price of the units I can definitely advise that you can get a better quality apartment with better staff service, some place else in the area. Mi Place at the shore did not live up to their sister franchise of Mi Place Rancocas. However, Besides the location of the property, in which the property geographically is in a nice area, I would typically not refer many to reside here as a first choice.
So I've recently moved into a one bedroom in January and after close to two months, I love it. As mentioned before, Carlos was very welcoming and helpful with any questions, which were very few due to the fact he went over everything. I live on the third floor by choice which is no big deal being there's an elevator which is very useful when carrying groceries. Quiet and friendly neighbors. Apartment was very clean when moving in, and all appliances are in working and excellent condition.
I had just submitted a security deposit with a different landlord when I had a feeling to keep looking around. I came across Mi-Place and decided to take a look. Upon entering the office, I was greeted by Carlos. When deciding on a potential property, a major factor is the initial vibe I pick up from the property. Unlike the other leasing offices I had visited earlier, Carlos did more than an excellent job of welcoming me into the space. Not only was he knowledgeable, but hospitable and friendly. He was as much a part of the overall experience. At the end of my visit, after being shown a unit & walking around a bit, I decided to cancel on my previous potential landlord and instead signed a leasing agreement with Mi-Place. I liked the property. The interiors are stylish and modern, parking is plentiful (unless you go townhouse), and it is overall quite serene (aside from the construction). Carlos too acted as an excellent leasing agent and I felt comfortable knowing that I could go to him in the event of any issue. With all that said, know that Mi-Place is still undergoing construction. It is not so bothersome, but you will encounter some bumpy roads and minor noise variances. Overall, it is not that bad, and aside from the construction the curb appeal is coming together nicely. Also, make sure you have curtains because there is a lack of privacy (considering its an apartment complex). Lastly, I’m enjoying my stay here. The clubhouse is accessible, the neighbors are generally friendly, and it’s relatively quiet. I can positively recommend Mi-Place to any prospective rental dweller & if you do decide to visit ask for Carlos because he’s awesome!
I've lived at Mi Place for a little over 1 month. Please read this entire post if you are thinking about doing the same. 1) Trash in the hallways - No trash chute so neighbors leave trash in the halls. Ohh and you have to walk 100 yards outside to bring your trash to the closest dumpster. Not looking forward to winter. No mail room - packages get left in front of your building by delivery drivers because they have nowhere else to put them. Right. Anyone walking in and out of the building walks past your packages all day until you retrieve them. 3)Unit not cleaned prior to move in - When I moved in, I vacuumed up 4 containers of dog hair, dust, and other filth. I also cleaned the shower/tub to find more filth. There is no way the unit was professionally cleaned before I moved in. 4) Unsafe living conditions - I moved into Mi Place in late August and tempatures were 90-103 that week. My air conditioner broke on Day 2. My air conditioner was not fixed until 14 days later! I was provided a window unit and 2 fans on day 5! Yes, that's correct, after 5 days of sleeping in 90+ temps. 5) Property run very poorly - Worst management I've ever come across! The property manager, Marisa, is extremely ignorant and apathetic. Only after I escalated my AC issue to corporate, it became a priority for Marisa. But..it doesn't stop there. I went from the bottom to the top. Carol, Director of Sales/Leasing, was just as apathetic. I did get offered a gift card for 14 days without a working A.C. Wahoo! Thanks, Carol. 6) Massive amounts of construction - Drive into the community and see for yourself - construction EVERYWHERE. If you like the noise of new buildings being put up all day, Mi Place is your spot. 7) Pool is extremely tiny - The pool is the size of a bathtub. How about bringing a visitor at the pool? Mi Place charges $5! With all the money they charge for rent, you would think they would not nickel and dime you for $5. 8) Poor building maintenance - Spackle jobs to cover up holes in walls prior to me moving in look like they were done by my 10 year old niece. These are all FACTS. Management will most likely reply and say they apologize and they are sorry I'm not pleased living here. This is their standard response, but TRUST ME, they don't care once you have signed on the dotted line. They just want to collect your rent and you to stay quiet. I wanted to let people know about my experiences so they don't make the same mistake that I did.
We moved here in January to downsize after living in our home for 24 years. It is pet friendly which is a major plus, and brand new. The Leasing Agent and Property Manager in the office helped us so much and have been wonderful. All of the staff are helpful, accommodating, and professional. The people are wonderful - nice community. It is has made the transition from long time owners to renters very easy. Great location.
