Property Ratings at Metro on 5th
I’ve been living at metro for 7 months so far and I love it here. I’m not sure about the reviews saying it’s unsafe at night. I’ve never had any issues nor have any of my neighbors. I asked a few of them upon moving in. I have a townhouse and it’s beautiful and quiet. The grounds are kept nice and maintenance is quick to respond. I once had to call to have my door opened as it was frozen shut. He came literally 5 minutes later. It’s a very safe place. There have been a couple of times where I accidentally left my door unlocked overnight while I went to work, nothing happened. My car has never been bothered and nor has any of my neighbor’s cars. It is expensive here but otherwise it’s a great place to live!
if you love moldy walls, smelly carpet they refuse to clean, and having your car broken into regularly (sometimes even stolen!), then this is the place for you.
Management is a joke, the ‘clubhouse’ is unwelcoming, smoking is allowed so get used to it, a lot of crime and unsafe at night.
My daughter applied here and paid the 50 dollar application fee and the 400 dollar administrative fee which she was told would get back if denied. She was denied in less than half hour and after many calls they finally sent her 250 of the 400 administrative fee and again after many calls was told there was an error and they would send 150 check. Been 3 weeks and after several calls they keep telling her should receive it in a few days. This is a money making scheme this place runs. BEWARE you will not get your money back.
I’ve lived here for about 5 years and have had a good experience with Metro on Fifth. Apartments are nice and seem well maintained. The leasing office is friendly and maintenance staff has always been helpful / informative when something has happened. I have enjoyed my stay and I’m sure you will too.

Great place to live. Have not had any issues and if I had an issue it was resolved right away. The remodeled units are great. They have done an amazing job with making it home. The only downfall for me is the parking is not great. The area I am in has a lot of overflow and sometimes have to park quite a bit away. Otherwise everything has been great. I do wish the had assigned parking spots.

I rented a two bedroom unit one year ago. I lived here approximately 15 years ago and loved the unit I lived in because it had a partition that extended the livingroom or made it into 2 bedrooms when needed. This complex has changed drastically for the worse. The partition that makes the separation possible, is falling down and according to management, can't be fixed or replaced. They raised the rent after 1 year. You have to pay a $27.00 fee every month to pay your rent since Covid started. They won't accept payment any other way. I have had 6 roof/ceiling leaks from the unit above and from the actual roof leaking. Only once have they repaired the ceiling in my apartment. The rest of the spots remain scarred. My license plates were stolen in front of my apartment and used in a crime. The dog that lives upstairs barks continuously when left alone. I have complained to the manager 3 times and was assured it would be taken care of, not. Every time I have spoken to the manager about problems she acts like she has no idea what I'm talking about, says she'll call me back and never does. Today there is an "apartment pool party". They have allowed a DJ to play music so loud that my windows are vibrating and I can't hear my own TV. Conveniently, no one is answering the phone when they are, according to the internet, suppose to be open at the office. Don't rent here, you will be sorry!

This apartment complex is by far the best I’ve ever lived at. The staff is so amazing and helpful. I injured my leg and couldn’t make it up the stairs and they helped me get a downstairs apartment as quickly and as easily as possible. I am beyond grateful and couldn’t give them a higher recommendation.

The staff excellent. I am very happy with layout and finishes of my townhouse. The upstairs is difficult to keep at a comfortable temperature. Overall the best apartment community I have lived in.

Metro on 5th has the best floorplans and superior apartment finishes. The location is the best with walking distance from the Streets of Saint Charles and its nightlife. On bike it is close to the Katy Trail. The management staff is caring and promotes tenant satisfaction.

The open floor plan is wonderful! Having stove/refrigerator/dishwasher and microwave provided is awesome! Once you walk in and close your door, you really don't know you're living in an apartment.

Location...Location....Location. Metro on 5th offers amazing convenience to so many restaurants, pubs, grocery stores, Lindenwood University, St Charles Main Street and the list continues. Clean and efficient apartment complex for a very affordable rent is what makes living here a very smart decision. You wont be disappointed.

It is a great place, I would like more security around the premises.
Quiet and close to shops and nightlife, a great place to walk your dog and listen to the water from the fountains one day, but walk over to enjoy great restaurants and historic downtown the next.

Convenient quality apartment living. Large floor plans and ungraded amenities. Location location location. Close to highways to quickly get to where you need. Quiet area within St Charles. 5 minutes to Main Street or local Lindenwood University, 10 minutes to airport, 15-20 minutes to downtown St Louis. If you want an affordable apartment that also checks off many of quality requirements than the Metro on 5th is your place.

Great place to live . All personnel are.friendly and nice, they do care about their residents. I have been living here going on 8yrs.
Everything for me good but this year someone in the office sent to me a litter warning without calling me saying that Some annoying from my apartment. She didn't even call to ask me. Note that I have been living in this apartment since 2012
This is the perfect place to live! It's a great size and excellent price! The grounds are beautifully kept! The neighbors are friendly. As a single woman, I feel VERY safe here! The location is spot on - so close to shopping, movies, hiking, sight seeing and the highway. You have got to check this place out if you are looking!

All the toilets, regardless of the unit you choose, are the small, circular toilets. If you are a man... be afraid.

The maintenance does a good job on complete the order as soon as possible. The office is very friendly and willing to take care and write up your problem that you have to be done in your residence.
Metro on 5th had by far been the best apartment complex I've lived in. The location is great, the grounds are kept up nicely, neighbors are quite and I love having a fireplace in my unit.

I would recommend Metro on 5th. The staff is knowledgeable and pleasant. It is close to just about everything, shopping, restaurants, QT and Main Street boutiques. Yet it is a peaceful and quiet. I have had a very good experience here and definitely recommend Metro on 5th as a place to call "Home".

I like living here. The community and area around is really nice. Metro on 5th is close to everything, so the location is perfect. I would just love the kitchen and bathroom be more modern and new. My kitchen is old and a lot of things had to be fixed.
