Wedged between the Cape Fear River and Carolina Beach Road, Echo Farms is a beautiful neighborhood about five miles south of Downtown Wilmington. Echo Farms Golf & Country Club winds through the center of the neighborhood, making this the ideal neighborhood for golfing enthusiasts, and nearby Halyburton Park provides more natural beauty with a nature preserve, picnic areas, a walking/bicycling trail, and a playground. Echo Farms is also five miles southwest of the University of North Carolina-Wilmington and 12 miles away from Cape Fear Community College. Property Ratings at Meridian at Fairfield Park
Be prepared to pay anywhere from $75-$130 more per month on your energy bill due to outdated appliances. I raised my concerns with the management, but got generic dodging the question responses. For context my energy bill has been over $170 over the summer and as high as $193 for a 770 sq foot apartment! This is more some months than a coworker who has a 3,100 sq foot house with a family. I am very frugal with my electricity yet somehow I am paying double what a friend of mine pays for a newer built comparable complex. In synopsis I would add at least $100 to whatever rent price they quote you when evaluating prices against other apartments.
we have lived here for 2 years now and haven't really had any problems. staff and Maintenace are amazing and very helpful! we would recommend meridian to anybody.

I just moved in over the weekend, and when I got into my apartment, I was applaud at how disgusting it was. Solid food on floor, hairs all over the sink and bathtub, cobwebs and dust everywhere, handles had white residue on them. I could go on, but it was bad. I had 6 friends and family members spend 2 hours on their hands and knees cleaning my place before I could even move stuff in. I expect some type of reimbursement or a meeting with intention from management.
Safety, layout of apartment, amenities and location are awesome! (stores, shops, gas, restaurants and the BEACH!)
The amenities at Meridian at Fairfield Park make it an exceptional luxury apartment home. The staff are fantastic! The apartments are very thoughtfully designed and have tasteful/high end finishes. I've never lived anywhere that literally felt like living at a resort. I absolutely love coming home from work knowing I can truly relax and unwind. I never hear my neighbors. The courtyard is a wonderful spot to gather with friends and family. The pool is amazing and the gym is so nice there's really no excuse to not go work out. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend.
Very clean and beautiful apartments, great ground and maintenance staff keep the areas looking nice.
The service staff are always there to meet my needs in a timely and friendly manner.

Meridian at Fairfield Park was a no brainer for us to choose when apartment searching. The office staff were helpful right from the start and made the entire process from applying to moving in smooth. We were so impressed with with the complex and all it has to order right off the bat. We are very happy we made the choice to move here!

Great value for the price. Very safe and well maintained. Large spacious rooms and closets, great layouts. Free valet trash and in-unit washer/dryer are extremely useful and great to have. High ceilings and large windows allow for a very comfortable, well lit and generally positive feeling apartment.
The Meridian has always been a pleasure to live at. Love the ambiance and the staff is awesome.
Not worth money. Wait till Covid is over to feel good about using facilities. Units are poorly built and dont make you feel like you are in your own space. Lots of noise.
The Fairview Park Apartments is a wonderful place to love in a beautiful setting and convenient to all food, leisure, medical needs. Also Dog Friendly
The maintenance staff is always friendly and considerate of the residents. They will go out of their way to help all residents.

The Meridian is a wonderful place to live. I love the ambiance and the staff is terrific. It is close to shopping, dining and entertainment. The beach is close by and there are many nearby parks. Great location.
I just moved away because I am getting married, but if I were still living in NC, I would definitely be living at the Meridian! I loved my time there.
I have just renewed my lease. My only problem was I was hoping for a lifetime lease but no such thing exists. I have a beautiful apartment. Last year I left the selection process up to one of the managers, because the building was not yet finished and I would not have known one apartment from another. I gave her my parameters and left the rest up to her. I trusted her judgement, explicitly. She could not have done a better job. Both management and the maintenance team are attentive, pleasant, warm and dedicated to making certain their residents are happy. The location is, absolutely, ideal; I am two miles from the Cameron Art Museum, an easy five mile drive to downtown and between two to fifteen miles of just about any destination I want to reach in the city or its general area for beaches, shopping, etc. The clubhouse is gorgeous, such a delightful setting for me to just go down to relax in the late afternoon; it is the best lit property I have ever seen; it is clean; the adjacent neighborhood is charming. All of the above were what I had in mind, when I requested a lifetime lease. There’s always next year. Hope springs eternal.
