McIntyre Apartments

I was there for almost 5 years. The office was on-site and the land lady for the place was amazing. Angie was always there when you needed her and helped in absolutely any way she could! The 1 bedroom was a decent size, albeit very plain and reminiscent of an institution lol. I never minded because it was a great price for everything included. But then someone bought out the place and implemented new management. Suddenly, Angie was sent off-site and they rid the complex of the office. They sent me a notice stating rent was going up almost $100, which is crazy considering the quality of the place. So, naturally, I had to find a new place to live /:

Everything was perfect, then they moved the office to another place because they changed management or something. I’ve been here already 3 years and I’m leaving because of that change. Angie was always helpful and she will make you feel like home. New management is messing this up. Prices are going crazy up and now they want to charge “internet fee” when all that was included. please don’t bother and go somewhere else.

These apartments are great don't get me wrong. If it weren't for the process of breaking our lease it'd be 5 stars. If you decide to break your lease, you'll owe full rent for every month remaining in your contract, the remaining of your move in special from the first month (if you took it), and you'll lose your deposit. If you want to find someone to take over your lease there's a pretty high reletting fee and you may still be liable for any damages they do. If it weren't for being offered a job out of state, I would have not broken my lease. BUT! Angie, the property manager, is an absolute angel. She's genuinely extremely kind and understanding. Moreso than any landlord or apartment staff I've ever dealt with. If there's any problems with the apartment, she'll arrange for it to be fixed asap. She does everything she can to make your life easier and the place would be lost without her.

Rooms are clean, big and at a very good price, management of the property is excellent. Angie is always available and willing to help in any way she can. She is such a sweet person that will always make you feel at home. The Place feels safe and I haven’t had any issue with my apartment.

Been here for 4 years! Every year has been good! Great location right next to University with a bunch of nice local spots close by! Angie is the best thing about these apartments! She's an angel! ??
