Where Do I Start?

Living in Manhattan its pretty hard being able to pay rent and have a decent looking apartment. My living room is pretty huge and has potential. But we have old couches from the 90's where so many people sat on, it has dents and tears it looks horrible. As well as our dining table its old school along with the chairs, we also have those tv's from the early 2000's. The kitchen is not as big. Our refrigerator is old as well its leaks on the bottom so we have to keep an old towel to keep the water from traveling. I am a single mom of three kids with 1 in the Navy and the middle child is in college and my youngest is in middle school in a two bed room. Having you guys help wit the rent will make this apartment better and my kids wont be embarrassed to invite friends over as well as me. Thank you for reading this.
