Trains blast horns for crossing Ellis Rd. at 11:30pm, 3am, and 5am. it doesn't matter how nice the apartments are. "some" train noise is just not truthful. I will have to buy out the lease. It makes me sick.

Regarding train noise, there is a train track that runs parallel to our property line near three buildings but we have not found it to be a major issue with most of our residents. We have lived at The Reserve at Ellis Crossing for 4 1/2 years. I feel very safe there, the staff is wonderful (especially the maintenance staff) and the complex has everything you could ever want. It's small compared to other complexes in the area and I think that is a great plus! Quiet and very well maintained.

There is obvious pride in the high level of professionalism displayed in all aspects of Maintenance and Aesthetics. There is sincere intent on building community belonging. This is a quiet and respectful place good for a mid-term stay. Edge of market rental increase is the only very unfortunate fly in the ointment which is too bad because it is in all other ways absolutely stellar.

The apartments appear nice from a superficial view. Upon moving in you quickly become aware of the low-quality construction and materials used. For units built in 2018, this is rather alarming. It becomes obvious that corners were cut and construction rushed. Wall seams are detaching, leaving huge cracks in paint and exposing wall and ceiling seams. There is little to no noise mitigation. I live on the top floor and can hear the people below me. The floor literally shakes as they slam doors and go about their lives. Shared walls provide very little sound mitigation. If your neighbor sings in the shower, you will hear them. The window/door that separate you from the outside and street are thin and do very little to block street noise/traffic. All fairly concerning considering an 2018 opening date. If this is how it is 2 years in, I don't want to see how it'll look after 4 or 5.

Most people are congenial when walking around the complex. Love the dog parks. Also create a list of residents that would like to help show apartments and answer questions for persons seeking to likve here. I was walking my dog and a couple from NY were interested in moving here. The first thing they asked is if this is a safe place and a said very safe as well as answered other questions like nearest shopping etc.

My experience with Ellis Crossing has been fantastic so far. I moved at the end of May in the middle of the pandemic, and the leasing staff was very accommodating to help me get everything I needed situated. It is a great central location in the Triangle area, and everyone Ive met has been extremely friendly. The apartments are beautiful, and the amenities are amazing (looking forward to using them once they reopen!)

I have had a good experience at my apartment. I wish they would install cameras in the parking lot because there have been many break ins to cars. I also wish they allowed cameras to face down at my door mat because many people have had packages stolen and I dont want that to be me. Overall the rest of my experience has been great. There are a lot of activities to do like food trucks coming. My neighbors have been good as well.

It is unfortunate that there have been a few car break ins in the past, but those were all due to doors being unlocked. As management, we cannot prevent crime from happening, but it's always suggested to lock your car doors and keep valuables out of plain sight. Our state of the art HD cameras are located all around the clubhouse, amenities, and front gate. However, they are not placed at every building around the community. Ive enjoyed living at The Reserve at Ellis Crossing since November 2017. Ive been pleased with the management as well as with the maintenance department. The property is kept clean and manicured for the most part. So far Ive been very comfortable.
