Hidden away in the north central part of Chesapeake, Deep Creek North sits along the banks of the Elizabeth River just four miles south of the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth. The community’s rural setting and relaxed lifestyle attract a diverse group of residents. Its close proximity to industrial and military facilities make it a popular suburb. Interstate 64 and U.S. Highway 460 make it easy to commute around this riverside suburban reprieve and put residents just minutes from Portsmouth and Chesapeake.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Marina Point
Horrible staff very unprofessional and they tow the tenants cars if you have more than one! So unfortunately my wife got the permanent pass and I was towed 6 times
This place is not a good place to live.im telling to stay away from there.they will screw you.they are fake and they charge for everything little thing.and raise your rent.roachs.rats.mice.etc are at those apartments.please stay away to save you some stress.
This is a very poor community and it’s sad because the manager is aware of every single thing in this community and refuses to do anything about it and when it’s time for the insurance company to come check things out they try to clean inside the buildings and make sure stuff is ok but usually they don’t. People in the building use weed and it comes through the vents and my son has asthma. The neighbors are rude they let their kids run through the building and play inside the building and don’t watch them. There is even a daycare being ran upstairs. There are three pits that live next door to me and when the owners bring them out they don’t care so you have to be careful that you don’t get attacked. The building doesn’t get cleaned on a regular, the washer leaks most of the time, and there are three sets of people that smoke illegal weed in the building the ones above me the ones on the side of me and the ones across from me. However the manager knows but refuses to do anything. About it.
A beautiful landscape with a lake to go fishing at large bedrooms great accommodations animals allowed and last and most important "Safe."
I moved into Marina Point Apt December 18, 2017 I am very happy with my choice. The owner of the property was very friendly showing me the apartment and answering all of my question. She was very truthful and polite. There is a ground yard person who monitors the garbage dumpster pick up any trash renters may have dropped. When Chesapeake had a bad snow storm the snow was shovel in the parking lot the same day. When I had to call for a maintenance problem it was fixed before lunch. It appears as if everyone who lives at Marina Point Apartment is employed leaving for work each day. It is a children friendly apartment complex. I also see people with pets. The best thing I like about Marina Point Apartments it is a quiet, clean with friendly neighbors and the business office handle the business in a professorial curtest manor. Karen
Marina point is doing very well. The apartment complex is very clean. And the staff does a great job .And they will help you in way that they can. Its. a great place to and raise your kids and it is close to shopping and fast foods. So please drop by the office and see the wonderful staff .ANd if you don't live there .come on down and check out the apartments.keep up the good job.i enjoy the staff.
This Apartment complex is coming up. Michelle is working hard to ensure this place is in good living standrds.I looking forward to seeing more good things as we all like family here.
I've lived in Marina Point for three years and have never had any issues with anyting the maintenance personnel are spot-on when it comes to repairing things and act quickly to make sure that you are, accommodated with Speedy service the management of the apartment complex are very nice and think that their residence are pretty close to being family
This community has went down hill. Maintenance is poor- they don't make apartments ready prior to you moving in, nor after. You make better time doing your own maintenance. As management if you would not move in the conditions you should not provide it to someone else. Management is poor, very unprofessional. They do not know how to talk to people. Please dont let the pictures fool you. The pictures are old from when this was a great community. I would not give not even a peice of a star for ratings. In order to do this review you have to give 1 star. Oh let me not forget about the poor poor parking. The complex is being ran by a bunch of red necks.
