Property Ratings at Mane Gate Apartments
I’ve enjoyed my time at Main Gate. It’s pretty quiet and great for families. I love it because I am a graduate student and would refer not to be in close quarters with undergraduate students who are attending U of I. My only issue is maintence. They tend to come in a timely manner, but usually knock literally twice then barge in. If I don’t yell immediately, their in. Other than that, i love it. I was unable to have a physically tour of the place before moving in because I live out of state, but the photos were true to design and had no issues!
Mane Gate Apartments are perfect for quieter, UI students, or anyone moving to Iowa City, but also looking to get away from the undergraduate college party scene. Upon move in, everything was clean and working great, and management was quick to answer any questions I had about the apartment. Parking is no problem it is bike friendly, and it is a 20 minute bus ride into downtown, or a 12 minute drive. There is a grocery store about two minutes away, and anything else within 10 minutes. It is out of the city, but it is also extremely quiet (quitter than anywhere I have ever lived), and still close to anything you may need. Great location, great apartment, quiet, extremely happy I moved here!
