unprofessional employers , don’t do walk throughs don’t send a final bill then. you have a collection agency harrassing you but won’t tell you why you would owe over $400 on a one bedroom apt. then you go back and forth with the manager n he tells you he will take care of it for months only to land in collections , then you speak with the manager and he lies and says he is taking care of it only to call the collection agency and the collection is still active without ever getting a bill
I have read some of these reviews and I have to tell you, I have lived here for almost 3 years and I've never had a problem. It is very peaceful, quiet, tranquil, it's like a slice of heaven. Kayla and Stephanie are amazing managers. We have had some in the past, but these two rock! The Maintenance Team, my personal favorite, Ryan! He is on top of it! He gets it done! Tim is not far behind. The amenities are awesome. They recently renovated the pool area, adding a new grilling station and some pretty amazing furniture. It's like a big happy family here. I love it.

I'm only 5 minutes away from my job and I don't have to go far for grocery shopping, food, and gym. 95 is around the corner whenever I have to go north or south. The office people are always willing to help with any questions. I couldn't be happier!!

I lived in this community for 3 years and loved it. The environment is peaceful and makes you look forward to coming home and relaxing. Children are playing and families are enjoying each other's company. This property is perfectly located giving you easy access to shopping and I-95. Notices went out to notify about any and all changes within management and the community. They have recently started making fantastic appearance changes and updates to the property. If I ever had any problems with the apartment all I had to do was contact the office and it was taken care of. Our family only moved because it grew to large for the apartment otherwise we would still be enjoying this family community. Thank you to Malabar Lakes and the all the employees that try to make you feel important and heard every day....I appreciate all of your you!
Stay far away from this place! This property is poorly managed and disorganized. When we filled out the background check they said they would call us within 72 hours. We had to contact them after more than a week went by. We gave them a security deposit and they told us what apartment number we would be moving into, but four days left until our move-in date and we still had not been contacted to sign a contract or do a walk-through. We contacted them (again) and were told that we would be moving into a totally different apartment number. Thankfully, we have decided to buy a house instead because I don't know what it would have been like had we moved in!!! On top of everything, they refused to refund our security deposit.
This place was alright until the new management company took over, Greystar, which by the way I had to go to the office just to find out. The closet my AC handler in has black mold all over the ceiling. Our AC handler drain backs up and FLOODS the closet once every 3 months, their solution is a shop vac. The maintenance man claims my mold is "discoloration of the drywall" and the leasing manager Rosa, agreed with him without ever looking at 10 pictures I delivered to the front office. She offered to perform a moisture test, not a mold test but a moisture test, because "a mold test is really expensive" conducted by the same maintenance man who has replaced our porch bulb 3 times (still doesn't work, bulb isn't blown its electrical issue and they don't seem to understand that) It wasn't until I contacted regional with the same pictures, and told them that I was being represented by an industrial hygienist that suddenly they decided to hire a contractor to have an air quality test done (hasn't been done yet though, still living with mold blowing through my apartment) furthermore, this last month they decided they weren't going to send out bills for month, I had to go down to the office and ask because I haven't received a bill yet. They then told me my bill VERBALLY and refused to give me an invoice for the month, then told me invoices would go out "eventually" but if I waited till they go out I would be charged a late fee. RUN FOR THE HILLS, PLACE IS INFESTED WITH MOLD AND MANAGED BY SOMEONE WHO THINKS YOU ARE AN IDIOT!
