Mala Grove

I would recommend Mala Grove apartments to those moving to Oahu especially for the first time. The staff was easy to work with from the mainland and were super helpful in getting everything together before I landed on island. They are pet friendly which is a huge deal. The location is convenient in that it’s near Pearl City. There are many businesses near the apartments making it a convenient place to live, shop and work is not to far away.

I did spread the word about Mala grove, the good and the bad, but there’s more good news than bad news about Mala Grove.

When I go to the office, the staff is kind, and always helpful. I’ve had maintenance work orders, they came within 24hrs or less. The location is great, I work 5mins down the road. I love that it’s a gated community, a pool and fitness center onsite.

While I was told the area and management have not been great in the past, currently, as of July 2024, the staff and maintenance team are great.

We used to live here before we moved to the mainland nearly 10 years ago. There are major differences since then, such as better access to repairs and to the staff, improved neighborhood appearance, a feeling of living in a secure and safe community, less pests, and a courteous staff available 6 days a week.

The staff members are extremely helpful. Candace, in particular, was so accommodating, and we are grateful for her help. Also, the maintenance crew is quick and effective, and I'd like to thank them for their efficiency and courtesy.

It has been a delight to be a resident at Mala Groves Townhomes. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The amenities are amazing. The staff are second to none. Not only is it beautiful,but it is safe too. The property is gated and regularly monitored by security. If you are looking for Aloha, you will find it at Mala Grove Townhomes.

These apartments are decent, the roach infestation is ridiculous and the community is dirty. For the price of rent, extra fees, and amount to move out , I would not recommend this place to families.

This place is amazing! Probably the best experience i have living on this part of the island waipahu area! Its a great safe place. And very clean and organized. My children love it there is so much things to do! And A very nice living enviorment and space. I am honored to be a resident of Mala Groove.

Since Mala Grove took over, I have seen a lot of good changes within our community. New paint for the buildings, finally got to access some of the gates, especially the entrance. We've had some days for the food trucks to come in our community for a treat, new hours for the pool, and maintenance kind of up with their schedule. It feels safe living in a gated area with family and friends.

Mala Grove is one of the few places that you still feel a sense of community. Staff is helpful and friendly. Maintenance responds immediately. The backyard gate has been a wonderful new edition to the features provided. This is a safe place to live and very pet friendly.

This community is relatively safe, quiet, and ideally located in close proximity to shopping centers, medical facilities, and the highway.

This place has a serious rat problem. I’ve been here 2 years and have never had relief from this problem. I wouldn’t recommend it here - I know there are other places you can live where you pay about the same and don’t deal with constant pests. I’d recommend going there.

Roomy townhomes, clean facilities, good security, easy highway access. Staff are friendly and helpful. Some amenities missing, like dishwasher and enough A/C units.

I just moved to the island recently and was nervous about finding a place since even the rental market is competitive nowadays. Oasis Townhomes was the second place I looked at and I knew my search was over. Love my unit and I plan to stay as long as I’m on the island.

Tower Management have really transformed Oasis Town Homes for the better within only a year. They have been flexible and prompt with answering any and every question you have. The mini gym isn’t a 24Hr fitness, but it does the job if you’re trying to get in a good workout after work. The pool is open whenever there’s no issues or needed maintenance, and it’s been an amazing experience.

Great central location with plenty of space. I especially enjoy my new enclosed backyard. Staff has been attentive and have gone the extra mile to assist with our move in process

Rats running in the ceiling, roach infested, and flies galore! Even after they fumigated our apartment! The roach, rat, and fly problem is so bad!!! No ventilation! Hot! Air conditioning only cools the bedroom! The AC downstairs is too small to cool the whole apartment and the management says its functional and to buy fans! The walls are just a paint over, the floor creeks upstairs and feels like you will fall thru the floor in the bathroom!!! Our bathroom is literally falling apart! So many issues with plumbing! The staff never answers their phone even after leaving messages!!! You might as well just go in person by that time you will be raging mad!

While the layout and the price of the townhomes are amazing, the conditions of the apartments could be improved. Things such as kitchen counters being completely disgusting, outlets not working and carpets that aren't thoroughly clean could've been done better before a tenant were to move in. On top of that, kids are running around screaming at 2am as well as cars parking in the most inconvenient locations. It also does not feel as safe with random cars driving through the complex whenever they want to because the gates do not open (just now had a gentleman who doesn't live here drive slow and wave me down as I am walking). The laundry room is always littered with trash and the machines are always gross. On top of that, the landscapers always blow contents from outside under the door and into our apartments making it all the more messy.

Maintenance is very slow at coming to fix little or big problems you may have, you get charged for ever little thing while staying at oasis, the neighbors are niele and do not know how to stay out of people’s business

I've lived in Oasis town homes for 23yrs. Raised my 4 children that are grownups now and moved on. I'm still here raising my grandson. I've seen the many changes through out the years, from different owners & management. I really can see the new improvements, for a better change in this community. Oasis has not only been a home for me and my children, it is a community to raise your family in. Walking distance to stores, bus stops, restaurants & schools.

we couldn't be more happier than we are right now since the New Management team and Owners have taken over more has been done then anytime during our last 12 yrs. of living here, the staff is friendly, Brandi and Kanoa treat you like family and everything is heading in the right direction, I would strongly encourage anyone looking for a " Family Community " at affordable rent for the family I would highly suggest giving Oasis Staff a call and talk with them.

Oasis Townhomes is a well enough place to live considering so many have lost homes due to the pandemic. So, to just HAVE a place to live - I am thankful. Oasis isn't without it's issue though. The facilities that residents pay to use are seldom open TO BE UTILIZED and that ISN'T because of COVID-19 but the use of the Gym is based on the hours that STAFF WORK. When they leave at 6pm, everything gets shut down. It was available 24 hours with key fobs. Plus, they installed security cameras and they have a courtesy patrol til 2am. So, why not allow residents that WORK during the day at arrive home around 5:30 or 6pm have access to the gym? Anyway, that's just ONE EXAMPLE. If I went into the litany of issues concerning the incorrect billing, limited access to pool, no security systems in place for the perimeter which just makes good sense since because of crime and more importantly, making residents feel more secure. These are just some ideas. I don't believe in complaining without offering suggestions to help improve the problems. I doubt you'll be using this statement NOW but thanks for even daring to ask. This community is very nice snd respectful of each other snd I love the apartment, so roomy.

worst maintenance and front office i have ever seen in an apartment. only thing good is bug sprayer and laundry room.

Everything here in the community is good, the people here are very nice.

Oasis Townhouses is a beautiful community. Residents at Oasis will determine the stars for it, and if they can be courteous about their neighbor and environment, Oasis will be one of the many reccommended homes to stay at.

From the outside you wouldnt think it is as nice, but the interior is well kept up and most of the staff is friendly and helpful excluding one of the older office ladies I dealt with the other day. The one ways are a bit confusing and there really isnt security like we were initially told. Also parking is not great, only one spot and barely any street parking available. Its not too loud inside so you cant hear all the neighbors and the people who live in Oasis are pretty nice.

Oasis Townhomes is a lovely community with good management. Most residents are thoughtful & considerate. It's location is near stores or the freeway so going places is a breeze.

We all know housing is quite expensive in Hawaii. I have found a home/community in OASIS TOWNHOMES. The management here is very proactive in every need to my community. Oasis Townhomes is one of the FEW places that is pet friendly as well. Nothing is perfect but it sure is nice to live in a community where the the staff, management and maintenance does their best to strive for the best it can be!!! Aloha all

I have lived here for 12 years, with My 3 Children and I hardly had any issues, but if I did they would respond right away, Love the location, near by stores. Just so convenient. Thank You Oasis

I recommend Oasis Townhomes simply because the staff is a great help, the amenities are unbeatable the apartments are well maintained and clean upon moving in plus the neighborhood is quiet n well maintained.

Overall good neighborhood need to work on safety of others and cleanliness.

Don't live here. If it wasn't for the uncertainty caused by covid, we would definitely be moving. Manager is terrible, maintenance is useless.

The staff is awesome!

Pool has inconvenient hours especially weekend as team doesnt come in on sundays it is closed so we are limited for that reason alone. Pool stays closed Monday for cleaning but will continue to stay closed if they forget to do it or dont get to it. Gym hours are only open during modified staff hours. Grounds maintenance that we actively pay for is lacking weeds and grass gets tended to maybe twice a month if that. Dog area for poo bags and disposal are never maintained. Either out of bags or residents have to take the dog poo trash out themselves. You really get what you dont pay for here at oasis.

Love the current Management. Brandi would try to assist in any way she can. Very professional and knowledgeable. The crew are great, friendly and very helpful. We are like a one big happy family!!
