The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Madison Square
About 3 or 4 months into my lease I noticed rodent activity and started to put out poison in the kitchen. I have about 3 months left in my lease and it’s gotten worse where I have had to buy glue traps to catch the mice. So far this past month I have caught 3. I have never rented out an apartment before that had mice and the amount of activity is crazy. DO NOT RECOMMEND ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN!!

Burners were all bent had them come fix it… they just put more bent ones on and then didn’t even tell us they were hot and we touched them. Told them in person that something was wrong with the AC was told they would have someone look at it and never did so we took matters into our own hands. The cabinets don’t close they are rotting. They did a horrible job on the facet in the bath tub (it moves when we try to up it up to shower). The top of the stairs to the apartment are not safe, had family members over and said the same thing. The whole place needs to be updated!
First off these are very old buildings and it shows. I have had almost every utility maintenanced on since i moved in. Faulty toilets, sinks, light fixtures, hot qater out over 50% of time and much more. Office is hard to get ahold to and when you finally do they wanna hound you abouf the 50$ you owe instead of inhabitable living conditions.
Well we were switching from one bedroom to a two bedroom paid all the nessarry fees (which are a lot) then when it came time to get the keys they said it wasn’t going to be ready. I felt like they knew it wasn’t going to be ready we should have got a call or some type of notice. Then the second time we were going to get the keys it was arranged with an office worker that we needed three days to move out and in, well I left thinking okay that’s handled I got a call from another office working she stated that I had one day to move in and out. Referencing that I had made arrangements previously with another worker she then said she would need to discuss it with her coworkers. Then after all is said and done when we actually get the keys they state that the extra days in our one bedroom would need to be paid. I didn’t mind except I have been paying a ton of money to these dang apartments and I would have like to been told before hand to make arrangements on the extra I paid on the two bedroom for thinking I was going to move in sooner could have went to the one bedrooms last days cost. They need better communication in the office and the Manger doesn’t even give you time of day and is extremely rude.
This is the worst, most unprofessional staff I have ever dealt with! Have left several messages with several problems and calls have never been returned! When tried to give notice of intent to vacate, they would not return calls or communicate with me. Now they are trying to say that I owe them for not giving a full 60 days notice and only giving 30 days, which my lease is up in 30 days and I have been trying to contact them to give them a 60 day notice! I'm trying to reach someone who can actually help me. The manager of Madison Square Apartment Homes in Odessa refuses to give me her supervisors information. I would love to speak with someone who has some type of authority. -Courtney Strickland of Odessa, TX
Lived there for 9mos. Roach inflected falling apart dump. Worse place I've ever lived in. HAD a very difficult time getting things fixed. Took almost 6.6 months to get an oven that worked. Try cooking thanksgiving and Christmas dinner with out an oven. I was promised it would be fixed or replaced by thanksgiving. It was replaced in late March we gave notice in April. Too little too late.
Apartment is average. Takes maintainance a couple of weeks to fix problems. Rent is high and changes monthly due to water which is split between all apartments, which means i pay for others water usage.
This apartment is newly renovated. The is my first apartment and it is great for the price and amenities. My only problem is that there is no covered or marked parking.
I live ar the Madison Square. Apartments. The management is constantly doing what they can to improve our living conditions. The office staff are all very nice and eager to help whenever anyone needs help. The maintenance staff is also available when needed. The parking lots were just remodeled. My apartment is a one bedroom and perfect. I have been here for four years now. This is the nicest complex i have. Lived at. Thank YOU.
Love living here it is clean comfortable. Recommend to anyone moving to this area.
