Waupun is a small, secluded city located about twenty miles southwest of Fond du Lac on Highway 151. Nicknamed the “City of Sculpture,” Waupun is well known for its abundant public statues commissioned by industrialist Clarence Shaler in the early 20th century, most famously the iconic “The End of the Trail” in Shaler Park.
