Historic Downtown Jackson is as energetic and thriving as it is charming and delightfully Southern. It is home to the West Tennessee Farmers Market, a variety of restaurants, terrific boutiques, the International Rockabilly Hall of Fame, the Amp, the Ned, and the Downtown Tavern. The Ned, or the Ned. R. McWherter West Tennessee Cultural Arts Center, provides residents with musical and stage performances and two art galleries. With rock music starting here, Jackson was the location of the nation's first Hard Rock Café. Visit the Legends of Tennessee Music Museum to learn more about Jackson's role in music history.
