Madison at Eden Brook

The new management have no idea of what is going on here. I have never seen such lackadaisical bunch! They don’t pick calls or respond to mails. How would they even answer questions when they are all clueless! Regret moving here.

As a new resident, I've been really pleasantly surprised by my experience at The Madison so far. There is a lot of natural beauty surrounding the building, and is very close to a shopping center. All of my concerns have been quickly addressed by the leasing office, and I love the layout of my apartment. I would definitely recommend moving here based on my experience so far.

The apartment isn't properly cared for. Sloppy paint work, one of our windows doesn't latch properly and we're paying $25 for a "security" alarm that doesn't even work. All the outlet covers fall off with regular use. One of our lights continues to flicker after we had someone come out to look at it. It's not properly attached to the ceiling. The grounds are littered with trash.

This community is in a decent school district. That’s the ONLY reason I’ve stayed.

The Madison has been a lovely living experience for me. This is my 1st time living in an apartment. Its clean and quiet. No issues with parking. Well lit in the evening and early mornings. The staff is very friendly and highly responsive and respectful.

I am a satisfied resident. Maintenance staff members are very helpful indeed. Property manager Armando is also very personable.

My stay at The Madison at Eden Brook for the past year has been very pleasant, and I would recommend this community without reservation.

Leasing office people are rude. Don’t care to help you. Maintenance people are nice but not skilled I. The things they are asked to do like closing holes mice are coming through with tape which does nothing. Had mold and they spray painted it white saying this will help it. Nope, need better trained people for situations like these.

I am pleased there are places to walk and it seems like a safe neighborhood. I very much appreciate the trash areas being kept clean - Keeps any animals away and helps with Bacteria and odors. Good to know they keep the common areas clean and lighting in walk snd parking areas maintained. It shows they care about our safety, our community - for everyone to live comfortably and in a good environment- makes a difference during these difficult times. Thank you

I have resided here for a month. I waited to write a review to see how everything was including getting items on move-in inspection sheet completed. I always had my eye on this place and wanted to live here but the reviews made me hesitate in a big way. So, I went around and interviewed several of the tenants who all said they loved it here, but maintenance and management were lacking in some ways. Well, my experience has been wonderful from pre-lease to current. Because of the reviews I had read, my bar was set very low. Boy oh boy was I ever in for a surprise! I was wowed when I entered the apartment. The apartment is beautiful. I was very impressed. It is very quiet both inside the building and outside the building. The neighbors are all considerate of one another. The grounds and halls are kept up and very clean. They do a great job here with both. My only negative comment is that what was on my move-in inspection sheet were all small nit noid things that really should have been completed at time of make-ready. But they were quick to get to resolution with all listed items. Tracie (office) made everything seamless. She is very professional and so prompt at returning my calls and/or emails. Ed (maintenance) a rare find. A gentle soul and extraordinary at his job. I would absolutely recommend Madison Apartments.

I like: the kitchen pantry, which though small, can hold quite a lot; the closet organizers in the bedroom are great. The closet is about the same size as the one at home, where I have wire organizers, but the wooden organizers here work much better and look better too. I also like the pull-out faucet in the kitchen. Having Valet Services to take away my trash 5 nights/week is a real convenience so that I don't have to haul it downstairs and all the way over to the dumpster and worry about slipping on ice in the Winter. The maintenance staff has been very professional and responsive. However, I have had to submit more maintenance requests here than at all the other rental properties where I've lived combined.

The complex is in a safe, quiet and nice area. There's a grocery store only 3 minutes away.

Very peasurable living experience with a professional management team in a nice neighborhood conveniently located in Howard County

Living at the Madison is one of my worst night mares. Several maintenance issues with delayed response if at all there is. The management is bad. I read reviews before moving in and expressed concerns to the leasing staff during viewing and she told me it was a previous management but the property now has a new management that is good. That's a lie, don't fall for it. It's thesame management Greystar. You have been warned. If you move here you will be frustrated till your lease ends. Leasing staff are terrible. No emergency maintenance issue is an emergency to them.

Lived here for two years. Just don't bother, they are not worth the price and have unnecessarily rude leasing staff.

Great apartments, quick maintenance team, relatively quiet. It's expensive, but reasonable for the good location.

Don't move here. Maintenance ticket no matter how urgent is delayed, imagine a problem with the heating system delayed and having to sleep in a freezing apartment for weeks, that's how bad it is. They don't care about tenants concerns and do not respond when you try to reach out

Please don't move in here. It looks good on the outside, its in a nice neighborhood but the apartment always has maintenance issues which are not attended to timely. The management are the worst. They are not nice at all. I have no words. Just don't think about moving here.

Nice apartments and spacious

If you get drain flies, they will not send a professional pest control service for at least 2 months. Instead, they will send the general contractors who don't know how to solve the problem. So be prepared to live with your pest problem indefinitely, if you get one.

The Madison at Eden Brook is a Safe Quiet and Clean Place to live.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to move into this complex. I am totally disappointed in the lack of service provided as well as being ignored by maintenance and leasing management.

I am uncomfortable in my own home. I fear retaliation from the maintenance supervisor as punishment for reporting the same trouble five times over the past year. Their maintenance strategy seems to be marking every request as "work completed" without any repair or contact being made, in the hope that the tenant will give up or move out.

Nice unit, nice neighborhood. I take out my own trash but have to pay $35 a month for valet trash.The door security has been installed but non-functional for years. The maintenance portal will not be very helpful. You make a request and they say "work completed" whether it was completed or not.

The Madison is luxury at an afforable price. If you're looking for roommate style or even family style this definitely the place to be! The area is quiet and well kept and the leasing process was a breeze. My roommate and I couldn't be happier!

The community was nice when I first moved here. In four years, the grounds aren't as well-kept. The fitness center looks nothing like the photo online. The property manager is not accessible (this is the third or fourth managment company since I've been here).

The Madison apartment is more of a house and home than just mere apartments. The Management team is receptive, courteous and amazing. The Madison home with its team players has an excellent way of communication. The Maintenance team is quick in their response, very neat, highly professional and very courteous. The environment is green and serene. The surrounding areas are clean and beautiful. It is a great community to raise kids. This is a home where your peace of mind is guaranteed.

1/10 Management sucks

All of the buildings need major updates, electronic access and a little nicer appliances.

The Madison apartment is an excellent community to raise kids. Here, you're in touch with courteous staff, responsive maintenance team. It has a beautiful architectural plan/design, trends with up to date facilities, sufficient/well mapped out parking lot for residents, a green and serene environment with good security system. The entire Management team is awesome. It's a home away from home!

The Madison is an affordable community with great access to the outdoors.

This is a "home away from home". The staff are courteous, very helpful , well experienced and good at what they do. At the Madison apartment, you come in physical contact with cleanliness, serenity, security, positive attitude and peace of mind.

The maintenance team at The Madison continues to be the complex's greatest asset and is the reason I have made The Madison my long term home.

They seem to be all about their money while doing the minimum for the tenants.

Would not suggest, rental staff is difficult. Apartments are decent.

This place has pretty good apartments, but ZERO security. Anyone can walk into your building and wait to mug you or steal packages. A secure door buzzer was installed over a year ago, but they haven't activated it, though they told me it would be installed shortly after I moved in. This was a selling point to me, but they didn't finish the job and they had ALL summer to do so. It is really easy for anyone to steal packages from this place... It is in a decent neighborhood, walking distance to most things (supermarket, fast food, bar/restaurant, pizza, sushi, etc.). If they fixed the security issue, I'd love it here.

Friendly staff

Very nice apartment. Amenities are very nice and everything is so clean. The staff and management have been nothing but helpful.

The Madison at Edenbrook has been my home for the last several months. The community is pretty nice for the area. It is quiet, dog friendly, & most important it is in an area that is convenient to everything. The only complaint I would have is the policy on smoking. There is a cigarette smoker who lives beneath me who frequently smokes so it is hard for me to enjoy my patio or open my windows for fresh air.

The staff is a great staff. Always nice and professional when I come in but the building is old with many issues that needed to be inspected and fixed a long time ago. The windows are old, I can feel the air coming from outside when I lay down in my bed, my daughters room is freezing! The original owners maintenance men gave us a new window for my daughters room before we moved in which doesn't fit because we can feel the air coming in and her room is the coldest which I mentioned that many times but I was told my name needed to be on a list to get the windows repaired, 2 years later nothing happened so we just have live with it for now. Some way some how we get flies and stink bugs coming into our home starting March and a bee ended up by my bed and I can't figure out how. The stove gets too hot easily which makes the smoke detector go off because it's an old stove. There's so many issues that I expressed and don't want to keep expressing. Every building needs to be renovated, not just when you move out.

The Madsion is a great community to live in! Tracie of the office staff is excellent! She is the reason why my stay at the Madison is so great! She is very helpful and cares about the residents!

I haven't any problems with maintenance since moving in. My work orders have been done within a couple of days. I feel safe in this community and have good neighbors.

The move in process at The Madison was pretty seamless. Tracie was very helpful. I am happy with my apartment & the community so far.

No matter what you are shown, expect worse. Then they want to work on the apartment once you are moved in even though it was supposed to be done before

The community grounds are kept up well and it is quite. I feel safe and haven't had any issues.

They need better people working here who want to be better responsive and ensure this is a good living environment.

I've been waiting three months and counting for any of my maintenance requests to be addressed - including the heat. Submitted requests - no answer. Emailed them - no answer. Went to the leasing office a month ago, was told that something should happen soon, and... nothing.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. One word: MICE. Even if your home is spotless!!Maintenance is the worst and the staff lie to get out of legitimate requests that are health hazardous. $5 dollar foam can spray took all week to "get in". Overall they took 9 days to address the mouse problem and still did not finish!!! Nor did they put much effort into securing the whole apartment was thoroughly investigated. Hence we still have a gaping hole that was missed and new dangerous mouse droppings! No official pest control help was conceived on their part and Orkin pest control specialists over the phone showed high concern that just covering holes will not keep them away, mice will find other ways or go into other apartments! I'm concerned for our health. I hope the health department will do the job now... inspection is necessary at this point. I feel like this company is on the verge of meltdown, even their official website is down as I type this. Spend the high rent somewhere else please!
