Anoka is a city along the eastern banks of the Mississippi River roughly 30 minutes north of Minneapolis. Anoka is known for all things spooky, as it’s coined the “Halloween Capital of the World.” The city held one the of the first Halloween parades in the country, and it continues to pay homage to the holiday with several parades happening through the month of October. During the other months, Anoka is characterized as a delightful Twin Cities suburb.

I like it
The price, short term lease option 6 months, and what you get really can't be beat especially if you are single, mature, and brokeish. There's two buildings adjacent to each other. I don't have any roach issues someone commented on (ick!). The few people I have spoke with at this company have been very professional like actually didn't mind calling their main office a couple times. The actual apartment is unexpectedly super decent, quiet neighbors, and smoke free. Hallway needs updates badly and parking is tight. The laundry while quarter operates work great and are super cheap. No unannounced inspections or even announced inspection visits yet and haven't seen anything on my cam which has happened to me at a couple other places frequently.

Infested with roaches and landlord refuses to do anything about it.
