Property Ratings at MAA Emerald Coast
It is obvious that this unit was neither checked or cleaned before I arrived. First it is very dirty. The electrical outlets, the light switches, the shelves in the closets, the baseboards, and few of the doors are all dirty. The insides of the kitchen cabinets, the kitchen corners, the floor under the stove and on the side of the diswasher are also dirty. The front door is very dirty and it looks like some sort of black mold on the bottom of the door. Also the door is not fitted properly in the opening. There is a big gap at the top, which will let the heat and air out and increase the utility bill. More bugs will also be able to get in. The toilet in the second bathroom is broken, continously running, and doesn't flush. When I run the faucet in the kitchen the water heater makes loud noises. There are dead roaches all over the floor and in the corners of the room, which is a safety issue since I have a curious two year old. I don't feel comfortable moving anything in that doesn't close or zip . The unit also needs to be repainted. It looks very dingy. Also the paint on the ceiling did not look like that in the pictures I saw. I t makes me feel like I live in a basement and is very outdated. The washing machine has mold and standing water in it. The outlets in one of the bathrooms are non functioning. There are at least two outlets in the living room that don't work as well. The hinges to the cabinets under the sink are very loose, and the cabinet does not fully close. I have called corporate twice and left messages. I have not received a call back yet.
Great place to live the staff are very friendly and helpful. Just the cost of living there in a one bedroom was a little high.
I enjoyed living here, appreciated the neighborhood landscape as opposed to high rise type buildings. Amber was very helpful.
Perfect, has great common area, pool, THE STAFF was great very helpful Amber was great, the manager was helpful, the leasing agent was like a concierge, knowledgeable and helpful about the area. Highly recommend

I enjoy the central location on the beach. Shopping, the beach, and the fishing pier are all within one miles of the complex. The grounds are always manicured and trash that's on the loose (plastic bags, cups and empty bottles are picked daily.

My living experience have been awesome so far. Nice, clean and comfortable living space.
I have always enjoyed staying here as this is my second stay in past 5 years. I love the lay out of the apartments and the grounds and staff are great. The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is because of an infestation of roaches. This situation has become almost unbearable. I know they are trying hard to get control of the problem but it continues to be a very bad issue. I had a sister visit me a few weeks ago and I was so ashamed of the bugs here I don't think I want to have anymore visitors. This issue will affect our desire to stay here if something is not done.

Every staff memeber is polite, they keep it very clean. Neighbors are very friendly. Maintenance issues get handled ASAP, depending on the severity, they are usually quick, usually to your home within 24 hours.

Well when we had moved in the carpet in my room had little bleach spots all over the carpet left from cleaners, our kitchen cabinets and drawers a few of them are either hard to open or won't stay closed the fan in the other bathroom didn't work in my bathroom handles were missing and there was a few spots on the walls that need to be repainted but after we called the office they did send someone down to fix what they could and they did, they were very fast and helpful, as for the office they are very nice and professional. As for the apartment and everything over all, I am glad I picked this place to live it's pretty quiet and there's plenty of things here like the pool, grill area, play ground, tanning bed, gym, car wash and laundry mat and they usually always have some kind of activities going on too on, also there's usually always a parking spot too, the landscaping is great and up kept so hanging out on the front porch is really nice aswell. It's an older place cause it's been here for a while but they up keep them to whwre they really don't look it but so far it really is a nice place to be.
This apartment complex is perfect for singles, couples, and families. It is a safe, gated community with a swimming pool, exercise room, tanning bed, tennis courts, playground, picnic tables and grills, free car wash, and laundry facility. Pets are allowed, regardless of size...and the beach is literally less than half a mile to the ocean (toes in the water)!!! The location is central to everything you could need (schools, shopping, restaurants, activities, etc.). Management is friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to respond. It is a beach apartment, yet the landscaping is lush and green! We love it here!!
