West Ashley sits within the city of Charleston and is west of the Ashley River, hence its name, and is the birthplace of Hootie & the Blowfish’s frontman, Darius Rucker. Lined with mossy oaks, the Ashley and Stono Rivers border West Ashley, creating the breathtaking scenery for which Charleston is known. West Ashley residents enjoy close proximity to the area's only indoor mall, the Citadel Mall, and a large number of big-box stores.
Situated seven miles due west of Downtown Charleston, residents can plan on a 15- to 30-minute drive, depending on traffic, to take in all downtown has to offer. Nearby Interstate 526, which feeds directly into Charleston’s Interstate Highway 26, gives residents a fast and easy route in and out of area. I have nothing good to say about my experience here, other than it's cheaper than other places. Sounds like I live in a war zone 12 hours of the day because of the construction that's been going on for mouths right outside my bedroom window.... the constitution they told me wouldn't be happening during my lease duration.... the construction that they do not give tenants any reimbursement for interrupting their livelihoods for MONTHS. Not my first MAJOR issue with them, just the most current, I can't wait to leave this place!

I was transferred to Charleston three months ago. After looking at several locations and not being very happy, I pulled into Cypress Cove and loved it instantly!!!! It's quiet and clean here. The front office staff are professional and friendly especially Hannah who made my experience easy and welcoming. The maintenance staff are quick to respond and efficient. The pool and workout center are beautiful. Dog friendly and most residents clean up after their pets which is nice. Located across from a park and police station right down the street. If you are looking to move here check this place out..... Love it here!!!!

Moved in not even a week ago and they were paving the property, the management team told me that my area of parking wasn’t being paved until the following week and I had nothing to worry about but when I went out to my car one morning it had been towed not only towed but dragged across the parking lot since I drive an all wheel drive vehicle. Beyond unimpressed with the complex at this point since they are making me pay for the tow bill. I was home all day and they could have just asked me to move my vehicle. No accommodation whatsoever to the fact that I just moved in and know nothing about the paving.

This apartment complex has the absolute worst customer service in the office. They are extremely rude all my neighbors cannot wait until their lease is up it’s like being in jail you’re counting the days till you can get out of here. The only time they are nice to you is when they’re trying to coerce you into signing a lease heed my advice run do not move here or you’ll be counting the days till you can get out like the rest of us.

They will basically let anyone move into this development. People coming home at 3am blasting music, waking up at 5am and making their car alarms go off to find their vehicle. Parking isn't assigned or numbered, wasps nests in all hallways, hallways disgusting and power washed once, maybe twice a year. Ridiculous fees for month to month and basically $4000 to break your lease no matter how many months left on it. This should be a halfway house and not labeled a community. AVOID!

I have lived here for seven years and love this apartment community. The atmosphere is friendly and the community is safe. I love that West Ashley Park is walking distance away and there are hidden paths that take you right to the middle of the park. The upgraded clubhouse has a nice workout and community center areas with Wi-Fi and plasma TVs in the gym and office and the pool is awesome. The apartments are roomy with an open layout and the gas fireplace provides warm ambiance during the fall and winter. An added bonus is the convenience to I 526 and all of West Ashley.
I lost my job but they are going to terminate me because I didn't have all the money for the rain to help me find a job and I'm working for is $8.00 can I get someone to help me I love the apartment is good I like the way I set up bathroom and bedrooms kitchen walk-in closet the washer and dryer closet I would love to stay here for free to be comfortable with my family
