We are very pleased in the maintenance team and the Front Office staff. They always provide friendly service and respond to our needs in a timely way. We see some complaints about dirty hallways and pet doo in the lawns, but the Avala staff are not responsible for lazy individuals who do not pick up after themselves or occasionally spend 30 seconds sweeping in front of the apartment door. Yes, it can be dirty at times, but Avala is my home and I share in keeping my home clean and neat.

We have only been in our apartment for 6 days, and too busy unpacking to do any exploring. We are excited to have a place where we can have a dog and most people are respectful in picking up after their pets. There are always a few bad eggs who do not have respect for their neighbors and leave their dogs DNA samples in the grass. The staff did a wonderful job in finding garage storage in the same building as our apartment which we greatly appreciate. The rooms in our apartment are roomy and the appliances work great. We are very happy overall and hope to enjoy our new home all year long.

Have been here 3 months very disappointed at the filth. The hallways here are very dirty, trash all over the outside grounds. The absolute worst is the amount of dog poop that is not being picked up. Have complained 2x to management it gets cleaned up for a day or 2 then right back to trash and poop everywhere. The appliances here are also junk. Have not updated since the place has been built along with the counter tops and carpets. It seems the management here has no care that this is suppose to be our home and most people would prefer to not have filth everywhere you look. Would not have moved here knowing the management just doesn't care.

I have lived here for almost three years and I love the place. The property always looks very nice and the amenities are great. I live in a three bedroom and my family always says they think it’s a house when they come down. Truly and apartment HOME, love this place

Be careful moving here. They will try and get you with rent increases. If they say they are going to make a deal to keep you get it in writing. They lie and wont do it after the fact. The maintenance staff is terrible and you can expect to be left hanging. Just not a place to live

I wish 0 was an option. This is the worst apartment we have ever lived in. Mold and roach issues from the moment we moved in until the moment (now) we are moving out. We have lost so many belongings that were covered in mold and they won't replace a thing. Our toddler developed a rash and respiratory issues living in this apartment. The worst feeling is constantly worrying that your baby will stumble upon a dead roach or something covered in mold and will put it in his mouth (as all babies eat whatever they pick up). Lauren is a horrible manager who will tell you whatever you want to hear and tries to "woo" you with smiles and small talk when you come in with a problem and she doesn't want to deal with you. I would not recommend ANYONE to live here! Not even if they only charged $100 for rent!

The apartments are great and spacious. Office staff always help with any problems . If you call or place a work order they come right out to fix it. Pool is open year around. They have community gathering with free food pretty often also. Pet policy is OK but most people haven't been following the rules lately.

Avala at Savannah Quarters has remarkable three bedrooms. There is plenty of storage space, large bedrooms AND bathrooms. They have HUGE kitchens. The whole apartment feels new and well maintained. You can tell that management cares because the property and landscaping stays beautiful! If you are new to the area, this location is the best. Right off of I16 which makes it easily accessible to any part of Savannah. We love it here!

Avala Apartments is an extremely relaxing environment for anyone. It has a tranquil feel and great neighbors in the community. The club house, gym and other amenities makes for an easy stay here. Shopping and great restaurants are easily accessible and the heart of Savannah is just a stone throw away. I'd recommend my community to anyone. Come see for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

They sucker you in with the amenities. Who wouldn't want a pool, gym, office and playground for the kids (they also say they have a dog park but it's too small to be considered a dog park)? Well all those amenities cost a lot of money. For the amount you pay in rent, there is no reason you couldn't afford to buy a home of your own without all of the restrictions of apartment life. The rent has increased so much that people are moving out daily. You will always see a moving truck on premises. They make you think it's affordable at contract signing, but every month you are hit by more and more fees that you didn't sign up for. Don't be fooled! Don't get stuck thinking you are going to pay what you signed your lease for. You WILL be paying at least 200 dollars more than you expected, especially if you have a pet. If you can't live comfortably paying 200 over "rent" for your sake do not live here, you will be stuck in a contract that cost 2000 dollars to get out of. It's a beautiful place to live. I've never had any problems in my building with anything. It just cost entirely too much to live at a place that I can't nail pictures up on the wall.
