Luna Park

I have lived here for a year now. Staff is great, quick to respond, and very helpful (especially Andrea)! Only leaving because my husband's grad school rotation is across the country. Very pet-friendly, especially for dogs with the dog park and little trail in back. We had a few basic problems which were all fixed: outlet not working, lights burnt out, smoke alarm dying, etc. Overall, I definitely recommend if you're looking for a quiet, friendly apartment complex. It's set back enough from the road that it's quiet but you're also a 7 minute drive from Six Flags and Gurnee Mills.

The apartment community is nice. The facilities are cleanish and the staff is professional and responsive to all my questions and requests. It is convenient to the highway and like 5 minutes away from six flags and Gurnee Mills. I intentionally selected the apartment because it was smoke free because I have chronic asthma made worse by cigarette smoke. The walls and ventilation here are awful. My neighbor smokes like a dragon and there is very little that can be done about it. When someone is cooking, the smell wafts through your unit as if YOU are cooking. I have had to seal off my unit from common vents and it stills permeates the air. I have two HUGE air purification machines running that don't make a dent in the odors. My apartment is cute and the renovation is definitely attractive but I can't stay longer than a year due to the smells, for health and sanity. I would totally recommend if you aren't smell sensitive and do not have breathing issues.
