Staying at Lumen Fox Valley has been a great pleasure. Its location is one of the best; walking distance from a mall and so many restaurants. Our leasing agent, Sky, made our move-in process super quick and easy and whenever he sees us now he makes sure to say hi.

Lumen fox valley apartments are new well maintained. Very friendly staff. Beautiful well decorated hallways and lobby. Good for seniors. Very quiet location.

Like I said. Children playing in the lobby, riding bikes and running around which is a safety issue with the residents and the kids and parking.

It is a very nice and safe place to live, the amenities are outstanding and provide an excellent point of view for residents and visitors. In general, requests are resolved quickly and activities are carried out to interact with the community.

My time with Fox Valley has been nothing but exceptional so far. I have no complaints at this time. Staff there it's very understanding, polite and professional.

The property is on a decline. Communication is poor. The staff acts like they are interested in your concerns however a follow up is only given once demanded. Buildings are not secure; the safety of residents are not put first here. It took an entire year for Lumen to open the Pet Spa. No notifications, no updates, just a paper sign on the door. Any events held by management are poorly organized. There is never enough food or supplies for residents. Police activity on property is never reported to the residents. The management and maintenance staff has changed without any notice to the residents.

Excellent place to stay with a resort-like living experience. The leasing office management and staff are professional, courteous and ensure any issues or concerns are promptly addressed. We have been staying here since April 2023 and loved calling it home. Excellent amenities, maintenance so far and events were planned to chill and have fun. However last night, flooding leakage happened through hallway via celing lights, vents and smoke detectors which is extremely disappointing. Called emergency maintenance guy as the lights went off too just outside our unit and there could be a chance of short circuit and water entering our unit. He said he is going to be in an hour at our place over call but did not.Despite being pricy, it is shocking to see poor building quality and no emergency service at critical times. As the storm is expected tonight, requesting the management to take some preventive measures to ensure safety of residents on priority.

Lumen of Fox Valley has been a great community to move into. The staff is pleasant and friendly, the property is conveniently located and the amenities are great! My neighbors are friendly and I like that there are community events to meet others. I enjoy living in my space, my apartment has a great setup and the balcony is a good touch for nice weather!

Our experience here at Lumen has been improving since we first moved in about a year ago. Management has changed leadership and things seem to be much better. Jack in the front is awesome, always friendly and super helpful. Brad in maintenance is always on top of it and the new guy they brought on the team is really quick at fixing things.

Big mistake moving to Lumen at Fox Valley. Complex was built cheaply and quickly, and it shows. I had black mold twice in the first 9 months of living here to which maintenance did not inform management, and management showed no concern when they were made aware. Maintenance refuses to show up when they say they will. Management refuses to enforce the rules of the community so other inconsiderate renters ruin the experience of living in a brand new apartment. Management refuses to add any level of security to the parking garage, even after a renter’s car was broken into. The experience of living at Lumen has been comically negative.

Lumen is a very well-maintained building and the front-office staff is top-notch. Also, the walkability of the location is the best in the burbs.

I enjoy living at Lumen! The amenities are top notch and my home is ac source of joy to return to after business travel. I would definitely recommend Lumen to others.
There is a lot to do here. There are a few things before you decide to move here. Rent is high already with amenities. With the monthly rent you would think there would be more privacy and security on the premise. Random people have access to the property and have the ability to use the amenities. As much as the residents pay you would think a privacy gate would be up to prevent bystanders from getting in. In addition to that residents plus one becomes plus five.The area always smells like skunk due to the smoking. People smoking around the pool area. There is always questionable people in the parking garage and driving really fast. There’s no gate or garage door to the garage.Doors are always having issues whether its getting stuck, difficult to open, or always unlocked. This is a big issue because random people can get into the building which is concerning for the safety of people. Especially when there are events going on. Residents keep parking in the front when told not to which makes it’s difficult for deliveries and not appealing. The walls are not soundproof and you can hear everything. Quiet hours are barely followed. Some residents are very loud and inappropriate in some areas. The main entrances to the back parking has a big dip where the front bumper of car gets scratched. Suggestions there needs to be signs up stating that the area is designated for intended purpose in the front. Security entrance gates would be great to prevent nonresidents from coming in. Perhaps speed bumps to prevent people from driving fast. I knew that the property is shared with the mall but I didn’t realize all our amenities is open to the general public. I pay high rent to have some privacy.
