Property Ratings at Lubbock Square
This would be our second year and lease, lots of improvements the last 5 months. Susan does an awesome job keeping the residents updated and services running. Huge difference since our first day here, the complex actually had its first community BBQ and we loved it! New Management (Working very hard) New maintenance team (Polite and time schedule) New security cameras (Security on site too) Better laundry machines (New app, that saves $) The pool is actually open (Very clean, not a swamp anymore) Community is friendly now. (Noise curfew enforced, plus security.)
I’ve called multiple times and none of the office staff will answer even though you can see them through the windows working. They also do not answer the office door even though you can see them looking at you. They don’t answer any questions for anything to do with the apartment and have never once answer the phone or responded to emails. Worst service of any apartments I’ve seen.
I've lived at Lubbock Square for 6 of the last 7 years, and I've enjoyed my time here. I've never had issues with any other tenants or maintenance, and management is very understanding about personal situations. Good housing for a reasonable price.
Management friendly to your face, evil behind your back. I thought it was funny when they refused to show me the apartment I would be getting and instead showed me the model. It's because they needed time to hide the mold. Maintenance guy is no help. He first saw it and said he didn't know what it was. Now a day later all of a sudden it is tar that leaked in from the roof. Our a/c keeps leaking and they still can't figure out why. Now the whole apartment smells like mildew and the big gaping hole in the ceiling that he never came back to fix is letting the little mold spores float freely down into the hallway. My advice is don't move here if you don't have too. You will be really disappointed and putting your families lives at stake. My wife and daughter have severe asthma and it's only gotten worse since moving in here.

I have lived here a little over 4 years now and the new management, Sunridge Management, is terrible. I have dealt with a few management changes over the 4 years with this one being the WORST. DO NOT LIVE HERE!

Maintenance is quick to respond and respectful and the main office is very helpful.
While Lubbock Square may seem to be in a slightly less-than desirable area, I have always felt safe at the apartment itself. The community is friendly, especially among the dog-owners. I rented the loft floor plan which is really unique and cool, with a huge bedroom. The only drawback is that the air conditioner does not work as well upstairs. I have had to put in maintenance requests a couple of times for small things and each were answered and resolved within a couple of days. Staff is very friendly and helpful, but it is best to go in and talk in person rather than e-mail or phone for the quickest answer. I would say Lubbock Square is not the nicest apartment complex, but for the price and location it is a decent choice.
