Roseburg is a small city on the banks of the South Umpqua River in southwest Oregon. Historically a lumber town, Roseburg is a relatively secluded community just a stone’s throw from Umpqua National Forest. The small-town aesthetic is complemented beautifully by the surrounding mountains, forests, and rivers, which offer endless opportunities to explore the region’s natural landscape.
The city itself features huge greenspaces like Stewart Park and River Front Park, plus the popular Roseburg Municipal Golf Course. The historic downtown district is packed with local favorites like the Cascadian Coffee Company, Old Soul Pizza, and McMenamins Roseburg Station Pub, all within a setting of vintage architecture and charming storefronts. The rental market features dozens of options to fit any taste or budget, with a wide range of affordable apartments, condos, and single-family houses.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Lookingglass Apartments
I've been extremely happy living in Lookingglass Apartments. It felt like home from Day One. Janae and Don are conscious Property Managers. Anything I had wrong was always repaired within a day of reporting the problem. Don is generally out and about the property painting, repairing, and maintaining, and is always ready with a wave and "Hello! How are you?" They're great people. The dog areas rely on people cleaning up after their own pets, and Lookingglass residents appear to be fairly well accomplished at complying. MUCH better, in fact, than the last park where I took my dogs. This is a wonderful place. You would be very pleased to live here.
Not much to the apartment complex and too small for the price of the rent especially when the managers are always upping the rent with out any real notice. They single out tenants and harass them all the time about the littlest things. Managers take forever to fix any problems but most of the time they tell you to fix it yourself. This apartment complex use to be a place you didn't want to live, but the manager's before these new ones really fixed the place up however it's going back to it's old ways and a lot of people are moving out. I myself want to move and I have lived here for 10 years.
I love my apartment because I have all of my need met with a reasonable fee.i I have washer/dryer which is high on my list of importance. Great location. Close to my church. Manager is on site. Dishwasher. Low light/heat bill. Free water and garbage.
