Largely residential in nature with a mix of single-family homes
and apartments, South Broadway
provides a variety of housing accommodations. Bus stops cluster on Harvard Avenue near I-77, which runs through the neighborhood and provides easy access to public transportation in and around the city. Jump on I-77 via Harvard Avenue for the quickest way to get to downtown Cleveland,
which sits a few miles north of the neighborhood.
Several small grocery stores in the neighborhood allow residents to shop close to home for some groceries and household items. The Red Chimney, a small breakfast and brunch diner that has been in the area for decades, dishes out large portions of eggs, sausage, and pancakes to residents every day. The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, just west of the neighborhood, serves as another popular hangout for residents. Purchasing a membership allows them to attend the zoo whenever it is open.
