With 1950s-style ranch homes perched on expansive lawns off winding streets, Oak Hills
is different from other San Antonio
suburbs. This neighborhood, designed by father-and-son landscape designers Hare and Hare, provides a park-like setting just minutes from downtown
San Antonio. Oak Hills is bordered by the Oak Hills Country
Club on its northwest side and I-410 on the south side. It is close to the Wonderland of the Americas, a large mall that offers concerts, a movie theater, and special events in addition to a variety of shops and restaurants.
Sitting roughly eight miles northwest of Downtown San Antonio, apartments in Oak Hills provide easy access to the city via I-10. The neighborhood is also convenient to the San Antonio International Airport, roughly six miles northeast. Oak Hills is also convenient to the University of Texas at San Antonio, located about seven miles north, and Six Flags Fiesta Texas, about eight miles north.
