Weatherford is a charming town right along the historic Route 66. You can explore the past even further by visiting most of the town’s main attractions. Weatherford has a variety of museums for road trippers and locals to enjoy. Step into Stafford Air & Space Museum and see over one acre of aerospace artifacts and exhibits. After you’re done head over to the Wind Energy Center.
The public schools in Weatherford are great and the town is also home to Southwest Oklahoma State University. Each year the university hosts the annual jazz festival which is usually a hometown hit. This small town has great parks as well for families to enjoy like Radar Park golfing, softball, and the Splash Pad waterpark.
