Colony Park features a play area, beach volleyball, tennis courts, a swimming pool, and basketball courts. The Walnut Trail, a rail trail, provides a paved walking/jogging and bicycling trail through the scenic landscape and eventually connects with the Harvard Trail, the San Diego Creek Trail, and Peters Canyon Trail.
